Plans are underway for the 2005 All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show. Its happening on Sunday, August 21st, 2005 at the Ellingson Car Museum, in Rogers, MN.

You need to bring your Conquest this year. Yours is in really nice shape!!

I'll be going with the Talon, and same as Peter I will be parking in the main area and hopefully get some votes this year. :) Maybe I will bring the Gaylant if it looks good enough at that time.

the 06 Eclipse will be in the "other" category this year. We probably won't have very many of them this year. I think Chris, at Brookdale Mitsu, will probably bring one for his display. So there should be at least one 4G Eclipse there.

I will be there with my car if it lasts until then. I don't know how all you guys can pencil this in considering the cars most of us drive. I 'hope' to be there should be everyones reply that owns a DSM.

Glad to see there is a lot of excitement for the Cookout again this year. I'm getting pumped too.

We now have 60 cars signed up. Thats awesome!

One thing I wanted to remind people about... The All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show isn't just for flashy show cars, its for all Mitsus. Even daily drivers and not so perfect Mitsus are welcome. Its just as much about getting together for a big BBQ as it is a car show. So don't worry if your car isn't a "show car".

What time does all of this start or when is a good time to show up . Never been there , but now i am going to be .. just wondering a lil bit about it i guess . Sounds to be preety fun

It goes from 11am to 4pm. I'd recommend getting there around 11 to 11:30am. Click on the webpage to get more details. Also, on that page is links to pictures from the event in year's past. That gives you a good idea about it too.

The sign-ups continue to pile up. We are up to 76 cars signed up. Thats a good 25-30 more cars then last year at this time!

I ve had 5-6 people stop by and grab flyers and ask questions... have we ever had a toaster van???? If not Im hoping this one guy that stopped by will bring his, it was like new.

I'm assuming you mean those boxy Mitsu vans from the mid 80s? The ones with the engine under the seats. Man those things were ugly, but I'd love to have one at the Cookout. They'd be in the "Classic Mitsu" category.

No toaster vans are signed up yet... ;)

I've finalized the pricing. The Cookout will again only cost $5 for you, a guest and your car. That includes the car show and all you and your guest can eat.
