Drop the wrench version 1.2

Just had to mention this because, well I like having a laugh at other peoples expense :D

Ask Josh (90laserRST) where gear lube goes in the tranny. A little hint for josh, not in the bellhousing hahahaha.

VFAQ is your friend!

Re: Drop the wrench version 1.2

In his defense, he very openly admits his nOOb status. I think he has learned a lot in his short DSM experience. I was pretty much just giving him shit because it was funny. I have seen much worse things done by people with way more claimed experience so don't give him too much crap. He pretty much took over for Tom as the local whipping boy hahaha. Tom is still the ultimate whipping boy, but josh will do for a local.

Re: Drop the wrench version 1.2

Yea I put SOME gear lube in the belhousing because I saw a hole and figured it would work. And just for your fucking INFORMATION the clutch works fine ;) At least from 0-10 lol. Im afraid to drive it. Im having other engagent issues from the linkage.

And no i wont be dropping the wrench, im just getting started. And even if I do have to replace the clutch, I wont mind too much being this taught me a lot. And for the record, I do NOT talk like my car is fast. You hear me saying things like " my peice of shit" " I dont wanna drive my car there" Etc. and this wasnt my car, it was a FWD.

You guys can bash all you want, but the majority of you are as noobish as me. At least I have the balls to try some shit on my own. And Also, I dont have interent where I was working and no one would answer my calls at 1am.

Hey peter, Does your car drive yet?

Hey jake, Why did TCF disconnect your phone?

Mike, How your legs feeling? haha

Cher, thanks for the defense of my noobish self

Chris, Nice honduh.

Re: Drop the wrench version 1.2

Josh does have guts, he isn't afraid to try stuff, that is a very good trait to have. Don't drop the wrench, but don't pick it up without a little more info in some cases ;) And my legs are doing better, Chris is right, getting old sucks. Although I don't think my arthritus is directly related to being my age (almost 37) I think it has more to do with the CF thing. Another one of those stupid associated things I keep ending up with. But if it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger and in that case I am getting stronger by the second so watch it punks :) Now if I could only remember where i put my 14mm socket.

Re: Drop the wrench version 1.2

I didn't even get bashed that time! I sorta feel left out, but that's ok. I was just joking. I have done some stupid things before..like, lowering a car on the lift, but almost forgetting to secure one of the wheels (I caught it). I am glad that you atleast have the courage to get your hands dirty. There is a guy at work (korey know's him) and he wears gloves FOR EVERYTHING. He was re-wiring a phone jack today..and he wore our surgon's gloves..damn pansy..

My car runs just fine... and I am no way as noobish as you and work on my car all the time... Do you know the info about my car and I? If you dont know what I have done and how it has come along way then keep it closed ;)

Ive been working on exhaust work and getting my setup final. My clutch engagement is giving me a real hard time but I it should be done this weekend.

You say you dont talk like your running 11s or soon to be? Then what are all those "GT35r is not big enough" threads you started a few weeks ago... Just because you own 3-4 dsms does not mean you own the road.

We all learn from mistakes but if you had a simple manual for the car you would not make a mistake of putting lube in the bellhousing...

You act like you know me bud. I have a fucking chiltons manual and like usual, I did someone a favor and let them barrow it a few weeks back and it was never returned. I dont care about your car, I dont care about any one of your cars. Im willing to admit my mistakes and that im a noob. You people think you know shit when seriously, when people that DO KNOW their shit read this site, they see through all of your bull shit.

And for those of you that know me, Im always helping someone else. How often do i ask for help? I do as i can when I can and this was supposed to be a joke and it turned into a bunch of punk ass' crying about a mistake i made that effected anyone else none.

As for the GT35R, Im pretty sure I did not say it wasnt big enough. 11s are my intended GOAL. A guy needs a goal before he can do anything with his car. Unless I wanna be like you and throw money on my car once, then upgrade later wasting all of that money. Im pretty sure I was asking opinions on it because IM RESEARCHING the modifications and engine I would like to get someday. Maybe some of you should think about doing that once in a while. RESEARCH. Simple word. Research could be reading.. or asking someone.. or trying something. Most of you Ethugs sit your ass on this computer yacking about nothing that matters while some of us struggle to learn and get by and deal with the car when we have time. Why dont you people go play with a car or something. I dont enjoy people that dont know me bitching about what they believe I think. Mike is the only one on this thread that even knows me at all.

Or something you should have tried before doing this incident.

You need to relax a little buddy. your getting pretty worked up there. so you made a fuck up, its our job as etards to point at you and let you know that it was a fuckup so you dont do it again.

Take a couple steps back from the computer, catch your breath, and then come back and apologise for makeing this joke out to be so huge. Everyone was jokeing and you adding this drama is just going to make it more fun to give you shit. Just letting you know, you make one more post with a pissy attitude, and im gonna flame you, just for the sake that im bored at work.

I am going to get a GT42 TURBO. I figure there will be no lag. Then drop some gear lube in the turbine and bolt that puppy up!

Re: Drop the wrench version 1.2

I got into the 11's on a 50 trim, would have been low 11's if it would have shifted and I was only at 26 psi. Nash got low 11's on a small 20g. Both were 2.0's.

Pimpin Dsmstyle 05-26-2005 05:08 PM

Re: Drop the wrench version 1.2

After the GT42 turbo bolt on I am going to throw a 350 shot of nitrous. Figure 1 second run is possible then. What the heck, at least I learn from my mistakes.

Wow your a cool guy, I never had a problem with you Josh until now. You telling me that Im a noob? And that I dont know shit or do any research at all?? Boy you better get a clue because like you said "you dont know me" either. Youve been on this site what... 8 months and you act like you know everyone and how they came to be.

You dont know shit about my car or my previous setups so wtf are you talking about??? Yea I started out as a noob too, in 2000 when I bought my car and rebuilt the fucking thing from scratch... And I dont do research?? Who are you kidding, I am almost as meticulous with things and processes as Mike is with overbuilding engines.

If you fucking did a little research as you call it you wouldnt have put damn gear lube in you bellhousing!

Have a nice day :)

You couldn't of built your car from scratch. It was stock at one point. I am going to use my T88 with a stock 7bolt bottom end and rev it up to 13,000rpm's. I did my research!

I put the gear lube in my T88 turbine housing. Then in my bell housing. Then lathered some of it on my dash. I also found out its great for bubble baths too. I did my research!
