Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Nice, but that's a laggy bitch. What engine and internals are you using?
|
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
nice man. any pics of that beast? Did you put it together yourself, or did someone else build it for ya? Great numbers.
|
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Hopefully once that bitch gets spooled you can keep it that way. Nice numbers though.
|
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Nice #'s. It is amazing that a honda 2.2 builds less torque than a mitsu 2.0 though. What boost was that at?
|
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
nice numbers.

Could have sworn I posted in this thread!

Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
He was "only" making 530 whp though, get a graph of a DSM making 604whp once and see what the torque is.

Yeah, I can tell he was hitting a wall. That is a 3.5l ?? Seems like a ton of lag for a 3.5l.

Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Rice-a-ronie. Shane meant .15 Liters more. Rice rice rice.

BUT WHY!? (hehe)
|
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Cause DSM's are gay, and the slowest thing to ever exist. I'm going to mod my 87 Accord to be just like his car, but I will make more torque with the 2.0L SOHC non VTEC mad phat tyte shit honda motor. Geezz, if this was a DSM (2.0 or 2.4) all of the posts would have said nice numbers, go run some 10's.

Sarcasm was used there, just to let you know. I happen to have a Galant VR4. An 87 Accord was my first car. |
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
I don't have time to look around for dyno graphs, so I will just say I was wrong. Like I said in my first post, nice #'s. It should be good for frum rolls! How much does it weigh?
|
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Dsm, Non dsm.
None the less, it still is nice. #'s look good to me. |
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Sweet numbers!! What does the car look like? Pics would be cool of the whole setup too.

Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Randy, piss on the haters, some of us realize the time, energy, and $$$$ it takes to build a setup that puts out that level of power. I'm very impressed on what you were able to do with stock upper end and intake. Shane, John and Cher let me know how much it took to get your car from not running to 600WHP when I was there earlier today. John did a great job on the cage, buildup and install. Elite again has shown their know-how when it comes to tuning turbo vehicles.
I have to say I wasn't a big fan of Randy's car when I first saw it, I have a whole different opinion on his rice ride now. ;) As someone pointed out to me earlier today, "it's interesting at how a dsmer goes about building and tuning a honduh." Good job! Jim |
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Nice numbers. Let me know when you are going to line up against Jet and Nash. I want to see a race. I knew the car would turn some nice numbers. Whoop some dsm ass.

Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Nice numbers Randy! Now I really have to get on the ball and get mine going! Hurry and get here rods and pistons!

Thanks for the nice comments guys. The car was worked on by both me and john. If he was working on it, I was working on it. I did all the turbo stuff and re-wiring of the car, John assembled the motor and did the cage. We worked on the car together for probably 150+ hours since January. The car went from complete rice and a complete mess to basically starting over from scratch. I'm pretty happy with the numbers and how the car turned out. I just can't wait to get it to the track. Here's a pic of the car as of yesterday.
No more fiber-rice bumpers ;) Rice Rice Rice Rice |
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Looks nice man! Definately a sleeper.
|
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Congrats on the Numbers I still wish you'd kept the body kit, and started proving that just because you have show doesn't mean you can't do the whole GO thing either.
Anyrated love the numbers Total Sleeper, Can't wait to get some 1/4mile numbers/video's. |
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Dude that is sweet it looks just like my gf's ghetto as honduh cept its a freaking bomb in disguise.

Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Wow, it looks like an old grandmas car except it looks like she went to pepboys and they sold her the wrong size tires and put them on anyway because she lost the receipt. Nice sleeper and very nice numbers, no one can frown upon 600 hp. Man what happened to 600 being some big ass power. Now it seems like everyone and their mother is 600+ hp. Since ive been on this site (like 2 years ago) ive seen the bar being raised almost daily, back when people like nash and jet were hitting 450-500, now the bar has been raised from the 450 mark being really high hp, to 600 being the minimum to getting props. Granted i know this topic isnt about a dsm, but 600 is definatly some nice numbers and we should give credit where credit is due. even if if is a honduh gramma car. lol Congrats on the numbers.

Get your car up and running! I've been waiting for that thing to run since 2001. Swanny kept telling me how it would have this and that...T67 and low comp pistons at one point... |
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Oh yeah;
Congrats! We will need video! |

Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Damn, a 600 horse early 90's Accord 4-door, who'd a thunk it? That's the sleeper of the century with stock wheels all around and something over the IC. Nice work.

Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
Nice job Randy... I had my doubts when you had first mentioned it, but its nice to see it actually came together how you wanted. I doubt I'll be able to keep up with you this year. Nice job, definitly need a ride in that car one of these days.
|
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
It's funny to think back to when Randy first came into the group. I think it's been less then a year? to how far he's come....
I'm very impressed especially since I know how much he had to do to get his car from what it was to what it is now. |
Re: Dynoed my Honduh Accord yesterday....
What boost was them numbers at?
