I am thinking this guy is going to regret not having a reserve or minimum bid. FYI, I bid more than 99 cents, nobody bid against me so he can't really say anything hahaha. Bummer I have to drive to Mi to pick it up, but hey, I like road trips.

It looks like this guy runs an ebay drop off store to auction items for people. I bet they are going to be real impressed with him.

I am sure they will attempt some type of argument, however they set the minimum and put it at no reserve so it is legally binding. Since I am a nice guy, if they freak out too much about it, I will offer to sell it back to them for say $500 or so. Should be a steal for them. Otherwise, I paid for it already and informed them I would be out to pick it up Monday. I left a phone number so if they don't call me before then, they won't have a choice.

I did something like this a few months back. I won an auction for 99 cents on an item that was worth 100 bucks. I paid as soon as the auction ended with shipping and insurance. I made sure that they sent it. They took their sweet time with it but I got it. I ended up paying 8 dollars in shipping for a 99 cent auction. lol. Good find.

You can do a "no reserve" auction, just make your starting price your reserve price.

You guys are pretty funny..... But looks aren't everything ;) The scale is for minor modifications made here and there that yes I will say need to be measured to under a gram hahaha. I take weight reduction a bit too serious, but nobody should be surprised by that. I suppose when I run out of engines to build it will be an aid in my future crack dealing business. I am also going to pimp out AJ if anyone is interested in resting their nuts on his skinny white chin.

Sad thing is, I could have put my max bid at 20K and I still would have won it for 99 cents. I am pretty sure he can't say anything about that. No competition is what kept the price where it was, not a lack of a serious offer. That and a no reserve/low initial bid mistake on his part.
