I am currently waiting for some piss ant paperwork to go through and could be picking up #4 on my DSM list of mistakes this week. Things have been slow cause we had to actually snail mail some shit but man I hope this works out. I found the car before any info and pics went online. The dealership is holding it whiel they get like 5-6 calls a day on it. But I got dibs and shoudl have full ownership by weeks end. It's not the color I have always wanted, but it's 100% un touched and rust free. More info to come soon, very soon I hope.

so was it hit in back? I have never seen the spoiler painted white before on a talon.

I don't know about the spoiler being white. I thought they came that way on the 95s with that style spoiler. The previous owner did start the car in gear once and that quick little jolt put his bumper and hood into a trailor hitch. The car now has a new hood and bumper cover painted to match as well.

The spoilers come from the factory black. Other than the painted spoiler its looking good, I'm sure I'll see it around this summer :)

They probably painted it the same time as the hood and bumper. Why, I don't know. Never asked, But I will. It coudl have been cracked or something. They replaced the bumper cover and hood for the same reason, small dents. They also put a new drivers tail light in as when i first drove it it had a rock hole in it.

I can't fucking wait! It "should" be in my driveway less than 12 hours from now.

The whole top of the car has been painted, all talons were 2 tone with black tops.. (except black ones... which are just all black)


Honestly the guy probably painted it because it looks terrible with the black on white... but painted it looks good

Looks Nice! I see your "suga mama" is taking good care of you and making sure you have a nice reliable vehicle while you go to school. ;) Seriously though, it would be nice to get into one of these after spending time in a 1.8 turd.

Wow, I can't belive I missed the fact the roof was painted...no wonder it was reminding me of an Eclipse! I prefer the black top, but whatevafloats ya boat.

As for the paint, they painted the whole car when they put the hood and bumper on since they didn't want to deal with it matching. Works for me.


Also I won't get it till next tues or wed now. Paperwork is pissing me off, but it is a 100% done deal once i get the new loan shit mailed up here, sign it, and mail it back.

Waiting sucks Im still waiting and theres no paperwork involved. Looks good Allan but it needs the 97+ front bumper and the talon spoiler, nice car though.

Consider yourself lucky, I had to wait 3 months to get my bike! You will have to swing by and show it to us once you get it! Hell, I will probably be at work so you better make the 2 mile drive!

Sorry to hear about the wait, the car looks decent though. Just hold a 2600 up by it and listen for a clunk, or bring it in and I will check it for real :)

The only thing I haven't looked for yet was if it was an eprom ecu. I will find out when I get the car, but if it is the pot was just sweetend!

As far as I know, the only 2G's that have EPROM's are the 95's. Wait, is this a 95 or a 96?
