How does the reputation work? mods?

Re: Reputation

I am not a 100% sure exactly, I know that if a user has their reputation turned on in their control panel, others can add approval or dissaproval points by clicking on the scale on the bottom left under their name. The green is obviously for good rep, red for bad. Someone doesnt' like Niterydr and i had nothing to do with it :)

Other than it telling you how many rep points you have in the control panel, I don't know how you would view the comments left by others on yourself, but it seems there should be a way otherwise, whats the point of being able to leave one.

Actually, green means the user is online and red means they're not. Put your mouse over the image to find out.

Re: Reputation

Well when I put my mouse over yours it said you had a disabled reputation. Mike's is "on a distinguished road" and and 90laser is "an unknown quantity at this time."

Re: Reputation

what does mine say?

Raptor 12-16-2004 01:16 PM

Re: Reputation

Matt, different function. We are referring to the square block that is red under Enes and black under yours since it is disabled in your profile.

Enes 12-16-2004 01:24 PM

Re: Reputation

why is it red under mine and not yours old man?

Re: Reputation

Your a tool hahaha. But I had nothing to do with your rep. Someone else must be having an issue, maybe someone you beatup in poker.

Re: Reputation

Raptor 12-16-2004 03:44 PM

Re: Reputation

You don't need to know biatch and no I didn't give myself any points. If I did, they would have been negative as I have a really sad perspective of myself :( JK, I love me hahahahaha

Re: Reputation

Re: Reputation

Hmmm....I wonder what Tom's rating is? :D

Oh, and a reason why your rating might be lower is because of trying to Thief money from people. If you miss it lowers your rating.

I dont' know what his rep has in it, but his sig is pretty sick!

Re: Reputation

I fixed all the reputation things. Some people where not even aloowed to post positive, while some where not able to post negative. Some where not able to post anything.

I have made all the options universal and the reputation meter is truely meant for those in buying and sell, not just as a fun pick on tom meter. So lets try and put it to good use.

Re: Reputation

I dont think there is a point to the good guy/bad guy thing on such a close community. If someone screwed someone else we would all know about it and they would not be allowed to sell or buy anymore.

Re: Reputation

You lose 50 reputation points every time you fail. Oh well I'll have to get them (points) the posting way.

tpunx99GSX 12-28-2004 02:50 PM

Re: Reputation

i need more points, anyone wanna donate?

Raptor 12-28-2004 03:06 PM

Re: Reputation

Yep, my rep has been dropping a bit due to a couple failed theif attempts. I did however manage to steal a few back from Peter and a couple hundred from the Goat Blowing old dude so things arn't all bad. I lost 300 more back to Peter when I tried to steal them, doh. Justice, what can ya do?

As soon as tom gets more points, I am stealing them so don't bother donating any ;)
