Has anyone heard about the guy shooting some deer hunters today?

Yea its in the news. Some hmong guy went nuts on a few hunters up by my cabin near hayward (sawyer county). Supposedly the guy was in the other hunters deer stand that was on their property and they told hium to get off their land, so he shot them all.

They blocked off alot of forest and tried to find him. Not sure if they did yet.

I've heard that they have.

Yep, they got him. 5 are dead and 3 in the hospital. Frickin' crazy!

What's even more fucked up is the fact that there has been several incidents involving families with that last name this year.

There was one where a husband caught his wife cheating with another guy, he chased the 2 of them until all 3 of them ended up crashing and killing themselves. (last name Vang)

There was this incident... and I'm not possitive but I know there was another...

The craziest part is I work with a lady named Yang Vang, how is probably related or knows this guy. She's has a huge family, and her husband is actually in the car scene and goes to midway all the time. (never met him yet)

Uhh... there are a billion people with the last name Vang in MN... I think its probably pretty popular and that doesnt mean they all are going to shoot up everyone...

Is the guy even a US citizen let alone have a valid Wisconsin hunting license?

It's a sad day when shit like this happens over something so trivial. As if MN hunters didn't already have a bad enough reputation for tresspasing, etc. in Wisconsin.

I hate how they speak as fact when obviously they have no idea what they are talking about. Just trying to further hype up a news story.

I live in Wisconsin about an hour away from where that happened. Even where i'm at we're still in shock over it. A friend of mine hunted about 30min from there. I could go on and on about it but then you'd just think i'm a racist. That's immigration for you. People think they can just open fire on someone or in this case some people! Tell you what- If there was ever a vote for the death penalty in Wisconsin, my vote would be in all the way.

I was wondering if the last name "VANG" was sort of like the "Smith" or "Johnson" - but didnt' think they changed peoples last name's since the days of when immigrants first started coming over.

I heard another tidbit about this today too. Supposedly they got kicked off of the landowners property because they were hunting it. Then the dude came back and started the shooting.

Vang is like Smith or Johnson. The whole thing is messed up, and I'm sure the media isn't trying to report the "truth".

Well upon further reading I see that he is a naturalized citizen who supposedly served in in the Army and has lived in the US for 25 years. What is damn funny though is this: "Meier said Vang was only on the wrong tree stand because he had become lost and wandered unknowingly onto private property." I hate yet to ever come across a property border between public and private land which does not have some form of fenceline or warning sign present.

Yeah, they tried to say the hmong don't understand the concept of private property. He has lived here for 25 years, he sure as hell knew what it meant.

What it all comes down to is that the POS has no excuse for what he did IMHO. I don't care who says the hmong don't understand the concept of private property or any other ludacris excuse, the families of those he murdered should be allowed to shoot his ass. The rules of the great Unites States are not that hard to understand, especially when granted the rights of freedom which we've had blessed upon us.

i have talk to alot of people today at my work about this and most of the people wish that we have the death penalty!!! and so do i, i think that no matter what exscuse he come up with it is still completely wrong and alot of the hunters that i have talked about are scared to go in to the woods up in that area now. i live about 2 hours from where this happened and it is weird how it has affected everyone some of the people i talked to also said that they are done for the year hunting. also my mom said that one of their regular truck drivers knew this vang guy and he said that he was a very strange man and blew up pretty easily... i just wish that stupid people would stay home and never leave so that none of this shit would happen it pisses me off so much

the sherif was on the local news today and he said that for where the people were shot that he would have had to chase them.

I dont care what happens to him. He deserves whatever he gets just like everyone else who's murdered someone. He just makes us (hmongs) look worst in one way or another. Well, if I get stoned to death for something, I will think twice about doing it next time! :P Seriously, he chased down the people and shot them, nothing would be too bad to do to him. If it brings any type of vengeance to the familys and makes them feel better, so be it.

My parents saw a news report the other night that this f*ck may be linked to a hunting murder a few years back.

Yep some guy 2 years ago was shot around the same area in the back. Never found out who did it but people saw 3 asain men driving around from the scene in a white pickup truck. Supposedly this vang guy used to have a white pickup truck.. hmm how convienent.

wow, that's crazy shif. I've always thought about how easy it would be for someone to kill a hunter. Kinda made me shy away from ever going. So what do you do? Wear a bullit vest under your orange suit?

Sadly, it is all media hype there. He wasnt even using an SKS, he was using a 7.62x39 Saiga...a rifle that was actually designed for hunting/sporting.
But the news orginizations dont care. They will continue to call it an SKS assault weapon murder machine of death.

I heard this morning that Mr. Vang is represent by 3 Wisconsin trial lawyers. The same as who represented Jeffrey Dahmer. More fucking tax dollars down the drain. If a person is downright guilty should there even be a need for a trial? On a sidenote: In my immediate area the Mexicans are really moving in because an asshole employer(food industry), is shipping them up here and paying very little tax dollars because he is giving people(Mexicans) a job. We are losing our jobs to foreigners because Americans are turning down jobs we don't want/like, thus keeping our unemployment rate up. That's bullshit!!! If jobs are available those jobs should be filled with Americans regardless of liking the job or not. There would be VERY little unemployement if the government screened unemployment benefits more. If jobs weren't so easily available then foreigners wouldn't be so eager to come here. I believe Canada does this already. Immigration should be banned here period. We allow just about anybody to come on board in this country but sometimes there is too much freedom.
