Super Bleeder!! 11-10-2004 02:08 AM

A//// Guy 11-10-2004 02:13 AM

In the words of Hughes; "Financing" ;)

santa 11-10-2004 03:56 AM

kick ass truck chris! cant wait to see it!

Enes 11-10-2004 10:22 AM

Awesome, i don't have to tow your broke car again :) lol j/k j/k ..

Congrats on the purchase.. seen a few up close, never actually driven one, i hear they are pretty confy... Make sure you get as light of a trailer as you can, and also get a class 3 hitch put on there, do not trust that bumper hitch.. and the trailer make sure it has electric/hydraulic brakes, if it doesn't. don't get it.. you will regret it later.

Again, congrats!!!

oh yeah, manual or auto?

Nice truck, I've heard good things about the new Nissans. Kinda funny, so many DSMers can't afford to fix their cars but are all rollin' in new trucks :)

curt_gendron 11-10-2004 04:04 PM

Sweeeet!! Join the truck club. My truck is hardly new though. :(

Yeah, trucks are the shiznit. I've got a few, here's my current tow vehicle.

http://www.sghenterprises.com/index....hicleid=136968

I've also got a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited that would tow easily. Haven't gotten it advertised yet though.

ABV 11-10-2004 04:31 PM

Here's mine.

http://www.spinturn.net/gallery/albu...06/truck_3.jpg

V6
5 speed
4WD

I don't think it would tow a car, but then again, I don't have a trailer, I don't have space for a trailer, or anything that I really need to tow right now anyway. I just wanted something I could throw a sheet of plywood or the occasional couch into. When I have something worth towing to the track, I will have something nice to tow it with.

Enes 11-10-2004 04:52 PM

you all have seen my setup anywho.. i dont need to post it again..

but here you go few anywho..

Forget about electric brakes, go straight for the air brakes!

v8klla 11-10-2004 10:26 PM

Thanks guys! Enes, I believe it has a class IV hitch on it as I got the big tow package ;) I figure I can save at least $100 a month in tows lol.

And its also prewired for trailer brakes, and its a five speed auto with a final gear ratio closer to 4.10 or something along those lines of a four speed towing duty truck. Don't ask me, I'm just quoting the window sticker lol.

Seats 5, 9,400 towing capacity, 5.6 V8, and a damn good looking truck. I did alot of research and Nissan came out on top...

Thanks again!

A//// Guy 11-10-2004 10:33 PM

Ive always like the Nissans Titans and the Frontiers. Nice color too!

1QUICK4 11-10-2004 10:53 PM

So when do you want to line up against my Silverado 4x4?
http://mnracing.org/modules/coppermi...0beast%202.JPG
Sorry, but everyone else was showin they're trux ;) P.S. Its got new rims now biatch! :)

Nice truck man, I was checking out those before I got mine but I am diehard Chevy and wasn't too keen on the Titan's styling (that was back when they had the grey plastic all over it like a pontiac).
Sure do get alot more truck for the money with the Titan though :(

We should all go wheelin' sometime!

Enes 11-11-2004 12:37 AM

my truck might not has as much hp as yours.. but it has enough torq ;)

94 F150 with a 5.8L V8. While towing a car, I get 10mpg. Otherwise about 16mpg. Just knowing I put 2,000 less miles on my babies this year by towing them on long trips is worth it.

Curt

Nice Truck! w00t

Enes 11-11-2004 04:55 PM

I have towing gears as well on my truck 4.10 with full limited slip differentials in front and back, along with snow plow/towing prep package which gives it bigger dual bateries and bigger alternator. I just need a better trany which can put power to the ground, the one in the truck right now has about 35% power loss. Once i get my debts paid back i will be ordering a new trany which alone will net me about 150tq and 70whp .. and 3mpg better overall fuell efficiency.. for abou $4k ..
