Paintball
Paintball
November 20th 2004 Splattag Inc, Hudson WI 12p-4p Bring lots of clothing, padding, and $45 Price includes 4 hours, 500 balls, Gun, CO2 Tank, Mask etc. 4 hours is A LOT for those who have not played before. This is the best price I found for a group of over 8. There will be lots there, the more the merrier. http://www.splattag.com See you there. |
I think i'm in if i don't have to snow plow or tow anyone..
-E |
If Jana says yes them I am in. I have my own mask and will be needing well over 500 balls. lol I also have full camo paintball gear.
|
dont forget to bring the impy
|
If this is a done deal then I WILL have the day off of work.
|
Can we bring our own guns? If so... you guys better bring EXTRA padding/safety gear!
|
Yeah, you can bring your own guns. But anyone caught firing frozen paintballs at 350fps gets their ass kicked.
|
It's a done deal, and YES you can bring your own guns. BUT you HAVE to use THEIR paintballs.
|
If I get there and they don't crony any of the guns brought in by outside players I will not play. I am not about to take a paintball in the head by some fuck head shooting over 300fps. Been there, done that. I also want to know how much extra paint is. Cause anyone who plays alot knows 500 balls gets you about as much fun as gettinig hit by a car.
|
They check speed before play.
And If you're down, PM me, and I'll be taking and holding $10 of your money to reserve this spot. I have to put down cash, and If 8 people don't show up, then I lose the deposit I have to do this after the last event I planned. everyone says they're coming, then no one shows up. Sorry. The reservation is in my name You'll get your $10 when you show up. Otherwise I'll have to keep it. |
I'm down. I have my own gear... and like allan said 500 paint balls isn't enough.
Allan if you want I could bring your old Sniper Rifle... (unless Jenny took it when she moved out) |
This sounds like fun! I think Craig would be game too, not sure about Nash.
|
Jet, if you guys want to ride with me in the truck there is enough room for 4 people comfortably... and plenty of storage space ...
-E |
I'll have to talk to my bosses about gettin the day off, but I should be down. Worst case I just have to call in too well er... sick to work.
JDM, got PayPal? Oh and I will have the beater minivan, which can seat 4 and a lot of supplies, or fit 7 and some supplies. |
Always wanted to try it, Im in if nothing comes up. Do you solo everyone for themselves or are there teams or what?
|
hmm...never done this before, but I might give it a try.
How much is extra paint though, im not a very good shot.. |
If you guys use 500 paintballs in 4 hours, I'll shit. At the pace of play I anticipate, there will be a few games you wont even get shot off before you're toast. But if you wish, you can buy 500 paintballs in a case for $25.00 a pop. So bring money accordingly.
PS, Did I mention you may be playing with 5-6 SWAT trained Police Officers... ;) Just a heads up. |
Please PM me for instructions for the $10 Reservation.
|
How many people are we talking total? Estimate...
You can camp right ;) |
I'd best guess it at around 20.
PM Me if you're coming, or else I cannot reserve the spot for you. I put down $100 for this. |

The old beast, Hell yeah if you still have it I would love to use it again! |
Sorry, Jana said no. Can't afford it, no job yet.
|
Kinda off topic but let me know if you guys ever want to play. I have a few places where we can use the land for free. So cost to you would be your paintballs, air, etc. I also have a hook up on rentals. email me at rlb92gsr at hotmail dot com.

Boosted_92 ...
where is this land? that would probably work out best if its not too far from cities.... we can save a LOT on paintball.. last time i went i used about 3000 paintballs.. i was a bit trigger happy :) any way we could get an air tank there for filling up? i could pick it up with my truck too if need be.. -E To the Hudson Paintball fields from the Twin Cities. Take Inter State 94 East to exit 4. Turn left onto 12 North. Follow 12 North for 2 miles to a stop sign, continue going straight after stopping, the road will turn into County Road A North. (do NOT make a left onto Count Road A South) Stay on Count Road A going North for about 4 miles to a stop sign. (County Road E) Turn right onto County Road E (Note: about 1000 feet after turning on to Count Road E you must turn right again to stay on CR E) Continue on Count Road E for 1/2 of a mile, watch to Splat Tag™ sign on right. Make right on to our driveway. Our diveway is about 1/2 mile long thought the woods. 10mph Please! Follow Splat Tag™ signs to registration area. 25 minutes from the Saint Paul. directions... |
I've shot at other places, and they are about $5 cheaper, but they limit paintballs, they limit use of guns, and the fields suck. These fields are actual fields, not inflatable obstacle courses. This will be as close to "guerilla style in the forest, hang from a tree and shoot your friends in the balls," style combat.
I've already made the reservation. It will be worth the drive I promise. |
if yo promise! .. what if it is not worth? what kind of liability do you accept?
LOL -E |

Thanks Enes

Hudson is pretty good place, played there a couple time this summer. Make sure you don't get stuck on the same fields every game. By the way alot of the time they never checked the guns so we would turn them all the way up. Have fun
|
If they do check the guns and find they are over do they just make the person turn it down or cut the spring? IF they don't put a new sping it cold paintballs at over 300fps = ALOT of pain!
|
Ok Kids. I think if you wanna make it out of that place alive, keeping your guns at a safe speed would be ideal. Let's not be dumb about this. No one has fun if someone gets hurt.
and you'll be playing with cops. |
Please Continue to PM me if you wish to attend.
|
Too bad you guys arent going when it was still warm outside, that would've been way better. I still want to go, but I'll have to wait and see if I can fork up enough cash for it. Paintball gets so expensive...especially at $25 per 500. I like to sneak paintball in, haha. I dont know though...I'll tell you guys in a couple of days.
|
Cool weather is best, but its still a blast when its cold out - less sweat, no bugs, able to cover all your bare skin without being uncomfortable.
Its a good idea to cover your neck (ask me how I know), and balls if your not carefull (not firsthand but everyones seen someone get hit and it aint pretty!) |
I've been hit in the neck, the back of the head, near the groin, and in the sensitive parts of the wrist. Cold weather is best, you will be sweating your balls off and wanting to take your clothes off when you're done. AJ will for other obvious reasons ;)
This isn't too bad for paintball. it's expensive here because of the playing environment. I've spoken to people who do this for the realism, and this is one of the best in the area. |
OK, Here's the deal:
New location: In Ramsey, NORTHSIDE SPORTS ARENA. Hudson called and told me they had to cancel my reservation because of deer opener for shotgun in WI. So we'll be trying this field instead. Post up if you're still interested. |
SAME DATE, SAME TIME...
I'll post more later. -Kiel |
Played at ramsey much much smaller, I hope you guys like close quaters combat. No trees just little shacks.
