I was chattin with this 16yr old from lakeville who has a V8 camero and says his car is very fast and laughed at me I said that our DSM's can become easy V8 killers. Pretty oblivious to me. I think he still has a lot to learn and if he runs his mouth off to the wrong ppl something might happen.

I believe it is 18 or a parent has to sign a waiver. See if he is willing to go any money races against a DSM. I am sure there are a few on here who may take his challenge. That camero looks like it has some mods done to it. Stock cameros aren't that fast.

I for one if I can ever find the damn car alrede have an appointment with him but I need to do a little myself. but I think he seems like the person who would say Bring them on or something and find out his car is shit and back down but thats just my 1 1/2 cents.

Yeah, there are a few 500 whp dsms around here that could put him in his place if need be. He probly would back out though...

I know of 1 Red Camaro that cruises Apple Valley.

Has T-Tops and it barely edged out my GSX last year with my S20G set up. That was back when I was still running my original Set up.

Otherwise I haven't seen or raced another Red camaro that could take me back then.

There are 2 other Camaros in that area that are putting down above average HP.

Johns Black Camaro put down 540whp (0260B4U), and the blue one with Silver Strips - is supposed to have done a 383swap. And is right around 390whp.


You can tell that camaro guy that I'll race him anytime he wants.

if its ls1 powered and your car isn't strong, good luck from a roll.
If the camaro is green/black with a high rise wing, you don't want any of that train, trust me.....
or white with orange ss stripes and a non-custom plate.

Definetely alot more out there putting down power but in my area I know most everyone.

There are a few Firebirds that are being done up as well now in my area. But since we are talking Camaro's I didn't bring them up.

Looks like a LT1 to me. 400RWHP in a LT1 is like H/C and full bolt ons (depending on size of cam). If he has a blower on there plus bolt ons i would say around 500RWHP at 6+ PSI.

Ya the guy I was talking to has a t-top setup and he has a red rollcage too.

Cage must be new, if it's the guy I'm thinking of cause I don't remember there being one last year.

We never officially met, we raced 1 time up 77 in Apple Valley. starting at around 160th street and stopped by the next light. (only till about midway through 3rd)

Hell I might have still been in my FWD - it's been a long time though. All I remember is the kid being younger, And the car surprised me.

Is it just me, or does no one else see that this kid was smack-talking about "our DSMs" when he doesn't even own a DSM and the guy he was talking to actually owns his camaro. I think someone has a lot to learn alright.

I don't feel him informing that guy that DSM's came be made fast a bad thing.

We all can say any car can be made fast with the right amount of $$$. Doesn't mean we have to own that type of car to make that statement. And that's all I feel he was doing. Making a statement that our cars can be made fast.
