1QUICK4 07-24-2004 09:04 AM

I'm going to bring a bunch of caution tape to rope us all off a nice pit area.

This is going to kick ass!!!

At-Least-It's-An-Evo 07-24-2004 11:07 AM

I'm in.

SuperSleeper 07-24-2004 11:42 AM

I'd be going except that my ride is leaving the day of Rick's wedding.

v8klla 07-25-2004 09:25 PM

There...

Goat Blower 07-26-2004 12:30 AM

I'm heading up the trailer queens. Just got my tow rig last week.

Super Bleeder!! 07-26-2004 08:32 AM

wootzor

SlowWhite 07-26-2004 02:58 PM

Doubtful. - NO money, no vacation time left to take off Thurs, Fri, Monday.

CVD 07-26-2004 03:03 PM

Yeah, what he said :(

JustROLLIN 07-26-2004 09:36 PM

I am planning on going, but I have hit some trouble with the install on my tranny. If anyone can help me out with the install, let me know. 651-295-9130... leave a message. I want to go, but I need to get this tranny in.

The one nice thing is that I can break that 2600 in on the way to OH!

JET 07-26-2004 10:38 PM

If you don't get any help, I can help early next week.

JustROLLIN 07-27-2004 08:22 PM

Jet, I will be in Vegas early next week. Do you think you would have any time on either Thursday anytime or Friday day? My car is actually down by you in Cottage Grove. Right off of 61 (Jamaica Ave). Lemme know, thanks man.

JustROLLIN 07-27-2004 08:22 PM

Now that I think about it, Saturday or Sunday would work as well.

Shane@DBPerformance 07-27-2004 11:01 PM

15 people from here are going? Thats quite a lot.

Raptor 07-27-2004 11:22 PM

I am still in the maybe stage, actually more of a probably stage. Only to watch, I don't think I can flintstone my shell fast enough to make anyone entertained enough.

That's what the bracket classes are for.

TurboGirl 07-28-2004 08:30 AM

Does anyone know the Cost and so forth to get in? I am going but I am a first timer....

We're camping at the Track...but I was curoius about how much $$$ I should bring...I'm not racing, just watching

Thanks!

AJ 07-28-2004 09:43 AM

Without hotel costs a safe amount the past 2 years was about $150 for gas and food and track entry fees if I recall right, but there's alot of other shit to figure in. Cedar Point and well..... BEER!

I wish I was going again but oh well, next year I guess. Gonna hit the pro rally up this year since I missed it the last 2 years. Have fun everyone and GOOD LUCK to all those running in the Shootout!

TalonFiero 07-28-2004 10:01 AM

Still trying to make arrangements to go. As of right now I have the time off from work but I do not have a place to stay. Not sure if the car will be done ether.

You guys should find us, we will be staying at the track too. Look for a good sized RV pulling a silver DSM on a tow dolly with MN plates.

i'll be w/ chris carey so i'm sure i'll find you guys..

Where exactly in Ohio is it??

Ha Ha I know nothing
We were gonna try to rent a van...but I'm not sure me and my poor friends can afford it...

TheBlizzard 07-28-2004 11:32 AM

Its in Norwalk, Ohio. About a 12 hour drive if I remember right. I am sure there is a caravan that you could follow down there all of you. We will be moving slower since we have an RV but there will be cars that will be going at a better pace.

All that I know is I can't wait, this is going to be a fun time.

Sad to say, due to conflicts of money and work i will not be able to attend. I wish i could, I was totally looking foreward to it this year. But i still do have a room reserved, so if anyone needs a room at the BW tell me and ill cancel and you can reserve it immediatly after i cancel.

Still have an open seat for ya in my truck

TalonFiero 08-04-2004 08:53 AM

:woowoo: Thanks to Kiel, I have a place to crash at BW! Now I just need to work on getting there. :bounce:

Jim

JET 08-04-2004 09:10 AM

You can ride in style with us in the RV! Just chip in a bit for gas and we can play poker and shit on the way over :pimpin:

TheBlizzard 08-04-2004 11:33 AM

Just to let people know, Curtis is not going to the Shootout. Thats means Jet and I have one extra spot in the camper to stay. PM me if you are interested. Will be really cheap to stay at the track in the RV.

Raptor 08-04-2004 01:12 PM

Josh and I are going to hit up the Winternats at BIR for that weekend instead. Free tickets, beer, etc helped make that decision easy. Not as much fun to go to the SO without a car when its that far away.

TalonFiero 08-04-2004 02:56 PM

Don't forget your earplugs!

JET 08-04-2004 03:12 PM

Alright, we are now taking applications for another resident in the RV, since Curtis backed out.

28' RV, you will have your own bed. There will be 4 people total. You can ride over if you want or drive. You will get to camp with Shep (I am assuming he stays at the track again) and some of the other big whig's with big trailers (Rau?). It is supposed to be a good time!

We are leaving early Thurs and be back Mon afternoon. $125 including the gas going over. There is a shower, fridge and stove, so you will save money on food and pop too, especially during the races.

Matt D. 08-04-2004 03:36 PM

Sorry, wanted to go but something else came up... Saving for a vacation in March so I can go play in the snow around Lake Tahoe. :(
