blageo23 07-06-2004 03:26 PM

WOW sorry about the big pic.

unreal808 07-06-2004 03:44 PM

Sticky Rice 07-06-2004 04:27 PM

nice!! go and test them tires out in the rain :3gears:

Phaze1ne 07-06-2004 04:31 PM

Those are some really nice rims. To make them look better you should paint the calipers black. If someone says painting calipers are ricey, at least it'll save you money and it'll look better.

JDM 07-06-2004 04:38 PM

Nice work B.

I wanna run...

Ok, I'll bite. How the f#*& does that save you money?

Nice wheels btw. Rather than painting the calipers, you should get bigger ones.

Kougar 07-06-2004 04:55 PM

Nice wheels. Looks like ya need a drop though :naughty:

JiN 07-06-2004 05:01 PM

Maybe you should back up a little so we can see the whole thing.

Jana 07-06-2004 05:29 PM

From what I can tell, they look really nice :D

blageo23 07-06-2004 06:52 PM

I was thinking of painting the claipers a different color. I dont care if people think its rice it will look better then that. i will get better pics when i gets nice out and i can really show them off. If i ever sell my Grand Prix i will buy some coilovers so it will look better.

yeah, i was going to say that if no one else did. i love conquests cause you drop them an inch and they tuck tire.

Matt D. 07-07-2004 12:17 AM

Nice wheels. Definitely clean the calipers, and possibly paint them black or a dark color.

Nice rims man, as far as the how painting calipers will save you money? Not quite sure, but about people saying they are rice. How the FUK is that rice? It's not, it's called making your calipers and the overall appearance of your car better. Do it man, that's one of the *cheaper* mods you can do that improve the appearance of your ride. :)

And I suppose painting the interior isn't ricey either...

You're right, painting the calipers is a cheap "mod". :slap:

JiN 07-07-2004 11:05 AM

It's not.

Here ya go. I dont like it with the tan top. I am getting a black one when i sell that red car in the backround that noone want to buy. anyways, ENJOY!

JiN 07-07-2004 12:26 PM

I likes.

Emcee gsxtc 07-07-2004 12:40 PM

looks tight! My plans after my car is done is to get a black 2g gst with black top, that just makes me want one more! Keep going with the sweet ride!!

Enes 07-07-2004 12:48 PM

i know you just got it, but its crying/begging for a drop..

blageo23 07-07-2004 12:51 PM

I know man!!! I hear it calling me from the street. But we gotta take things slow. When i sell that piece of shit in the backround i will probably put the extra money(if there is any) into either a new top or coilovers.

curt_gendron 07-07-2004 12:52 PM

The Spyder is looking good! Keep it up. I agree with ya that a black top would look better, but the tan isn't too bad.

I'd say paint the calipers black. It would give it a better look. I did on my Stealth and they look a lot better. See:

JiN 07-07-2004 02:25 PM

You have chrome rims though. Not black.

joem 07-08-2004 12:41 AM

EDITIED FOR IMPROPER CONTENT

blageo23 07-08-2004 12:43 PM

I think I agree with you on that. Yah in the future I will get bigger brakes but until then why not go with a cheap solution??

Enes 07-08-2004 12:46 PM

I painted mine, the only reason i painted mine is because they were ugly looking and rusty.. this will protect them a little bit longer and hide them better since i painted them black..

Either way... get off the arguing part.. if you don't have anything nice to suggest plz don't!!

unless you're open tracking dont bother with bigger brakes. contrary to popular belief, bigger brakes will not drastically improve your stopping distance, they will however assist in heat handling/dissipation if you're road racing. if you just want better stopping and pedal feel get stainless brake lines and porterfield R4-E pads (or R4-S if you don't want to eat up rotors)
