Well I pulled the motor Saturday, and the longblock should be done by Friday. Going in Saturday if all goes well! Should be up and running next week!

Wish me luck!

santa 06-29-2004 12:16 AM

JET 06-29-2004 01:35 AM

It looks like you are on a similar schedule to me! The only problem is that I have to build two O2 housings and two DP's in that time also :goodluck: I am still going to try and get it together for Mayhem, but the red car might be going instead.

SlowWhite 06-29-2004 11:25 AM

SlowWhite 07-05-2004 08:39 AM

Very nice Man. Hope everything goes as planning.

v8klla 08-02-2004 12:45 AM

It started! First try! All cylinders firing and nothing leaking as far as I know, although it was pretty dark out lol! Now all I have to do is time the thing and cut off the damn 2G counterweight that is hitting my radiator hose and Ill be out on the road!

Chris

niterydr 08-02-2004 10:07 AM

Heck yeah it does....

v8klla 08-05-2004 03:56 AM

Drove it home tonight! No leaks! Runs great besides the vented Tial BOV and stock 2G MAS...blah

Now all I need to do is break it in and get it ready to dyno next week! Yes!

As one DSM Goes down - another one comes alive....What can you do?

Raptor 08-05-2004 12:25 PM

He had a huge smile on his face when he came back from breaking it in with Swanny. Hopefully it was because of the car :stick:

Enes 08-05-2004 12:29 PM

Goat Blower 08-10-2004 12:12 AM

Congrats. For some reason, a problem always accompanies my r&r of an engine. Usually something stupid like the injector resistor pack or a bad CAS. Stupid DSM's.

Raptor 08-10-2004 02:15 PM

Winblows boxes don't count as computers :whipped: If you type CTRL-C on a real system it should kill something! The power is in the command line ;)
