how many toys do you own?
 

I'm just wondering if there's a such thing called "too many toys". I've got my DD Corolla, the spyder, MR2, Nissan Titan, and my Skeeter bass boat. That is all to myself and nobody else. How many do you have?

I got a DD audi, 95 tsi awd project, 96 esi, mxz 670 sled that i put a 144" track on, 82 rm 250 dirt bike I would say you can never have enough toys!

I just have one fun car in the garage. I wouldn't count my DD as a toy.

Oh lordy..here we go: '93 TSi AWD, '94 Colt Base (in serious need of a 4g63), '95 Mirage LS (AWD swapped), '95 TSi AWD Auto., 1999 GS-T and finally my '95 12 Valve Cummins.

Most of these aren't running..actually, only two have engines in them. I seem to keep reading people's claims that it isn't hard to get them running. I would raise the point of where the money is supposed to come from to buy parts and the like. I know I don't have money falling out of my...crevasses. It's just kind of annoying to listen to.

I have my '11 335Xi as my fun car/DD, 05 GSXR 1000 and 19' Lund fish/ski with 115hp on it. I have really thinned down the heard for fun stuff, but still have a few other vehicles around that I am ready to send to the junk yard because I don't want to deal with them anymore. Once the house is done, then I want to start a kit car. Hopefully an Austin Healey 3000 (with a V12 in it), but possibly a cobra.

Don't sell them. As for space, buy a house with a nice driveway. I'm ready to move into a house with bigger garage already since the 2 car garage with a 6 car driveway ain't cutting it anymore. Need to sell the Skeeter so I can get a Celica and a Cafe Racer for spring.

01 Dodge 3500 Dually (daily), 98 AWD Spyder, 97 AWD converted GST, 98 GSX, 86 Hydrostream Valero... (All of those vehicles are white, yes I have a problem)... 04 Honda CBR1000rr, 06 KTM 525sx, 05 Honda 650r, 06 Yamaha TTR-50, 89 MK3 Supra getting a 4g64.

It makes me feel good to know I'm not the only idiot with a bunch of toys and maintenance. I don't know how you can keep with it all, unless you stop using some of them.

Sold most of my toys lol. No more fun cars or motorcycles, just the A4 DD.

Still have a 2001 Yamaha 700 SRX snowmobile, seasons off to a good start, just need a few more inches!

14' fishing boat with 15hp motor
Ice fishing auger and ice house lol
Just sold the Jet ski this last summer

Hope to add something to the stable next year, well see what happens.

I like having a lot of toys, but I'm always conflicted because I don't really enjoy wrenching on them. And ultimately the more you own the more you have to wrench. Here is my list:

I've started to seriously think about only owning what is still relevant, but I can't convince myself to sell my dirt bike or toy hauler... It would cost me more to buy another when it's relevant, so why bother if I have room to store these things?

Any regrets, other than your ex retaining your scoot? :)

Wife only rode her gsxr 2 times last year but it's payed for so it ok with me if it sits cause its there when she wants it. I hate selling toys always seem to regret it down the road.

No regrets for me selling any of my toys. Its easy to buy, hard to sell. Theres always a newer better model out there to want to get as well.

I do miss having a fun car though.

Zero. I find cars more fun than motorcycles; after having too many close calls I decided it was time to call it quits and hang up the helmet. Regarding the water toys...cheaper to rent a few weekends per year than it is own/maintain/insure/store. Plus, I don't have a tow vehicle at my disposal anymore.

Good call, I should edit my post. Everyone should get a toy hauler, purely for storage space!

A stand-up jet ski still remains on my want list, but I fear the odd engine I know nothing about. I've owned just about everything I've wanted, but want a RWD muscle car again. I'd love to burn rubber all over the city while dressed up like Smokey and the Bandit in an old Trans Am. The Evo lacks that kind of flair
