Okay so here is the deal i am checking out this 2g gst on craigs has 105xxx miles on it and is rust free he claims. He started to replace the heater core and never finished and has some of the motor torn apart. I basically want it for the shell and swap everything over from my car awd swap and everything. So my question is how much would you pay for this car ? The color is also a plus for me as in i am in love with it.

Under 1000 if the body is mint. With it apart it is a roller and most I pay for them is 700.00

And hes asking 1200 i wouldnt pay that i was thinking maybe 800 if the paint is real nice and if its really as rust free as he says it is

The Mitsu symbol is recessed into the center of the OEM piece. It might have been filled in or something, looks like OEM bumper other than that.

Paid 900 for my (used to be rust free) 97 tsi shell with 98xxx miles on it. Tell him to keep the motor and give him 700 haha

I was going to guess thats the reason

And hell no im going for it with the motor i just dont know if its worth doing all of the work like swapping stuff from my car now over or if i should just make my car rust free as in it wouldnt take much.

Yea tell me about it. I guarentee theres shit in the head and thermostat housing from what it looks like there alot of crap that got in the bay

That it is. If it is yellow urathain it's oem. But cireta fit. Makes a replace ment that is grey/black urathain that does not have the indent for the logo.

So you're wanting to take apart the car you just redid the engine bay on to put into this? Along with going into doing an AWD swap? May I ask why?

Yea your asking a good question basically because i love the color i know its a very stupid reason and im not getting this shell anymore im just fixing the little rust on my car and maybe getting it repainted.

Paint it. I feel your pain for the red. It's awesome in a parking lot or at a show but it's useless when it comes to cops and attracting their attention.

Well thanks guys for the positive towards my car.

IIts like sometimes i want the red and i like it but then other times it kinda ugly in my opinion well see what happens i think color is the last thing i am worried about im just getting the motor were i want it
