I got a tune for the 335i, 60whp and 80wtq! They are backordered though, so I probably won't get it on until I am back from Mexico. I got Gran Turismo 6 too for the PS3 and money I am going to put towards a billet oil catch can. Direct injection doesn't clean the valves like port injection.

I got some small parts for my 63 Mercury project. some other random things I asked for that I wanted but wouldn't buy for myself. And a bottle of Crown Royal Black that I am enjoying right now.

Goodhart . That smoker looks nice. One of those automatic ones would be nice. I have a charcoal offset barrel smoker that I use all the time. Let me know if you want any smoking tips. I'm doing pulled pork on saturday.

I received a new phone! Nokia Lumia 1020 with an Otterbox case. The phone is white but the case is black and damn near seals the phone off. It somewhat defeats the purpose of wanting a white one but whatever.

I also have a little something something waiting for me back at my apartment. I consider it a gift to myself. :D More on that later.

Fuck yea I want smoking tips! The only problem with this one so far as I can tell is that you basically have to have it inside in the winter months because it's not insulated well enough. I also got a $50 gift certificate to the local meat market, so I'll be trying something pretty soon here. Been researching the hell out of techniques and recipes the last 24 hours here.

Socks, underwear, and beer! Living the dream.

Also got some tools, money for a new steering wheel, some board games, and an 800mW laser (most are 5mW, this one is green and you can see it for miles, it's crazy and a bit scary because you have to be careful with it).

My car got these for Christmas (excuse the mess, I got excited and was throwing the packing paper everywhere):

So did I! Add me on there, S2kracka, it's fun to see your rankings vs. friends.

Love the smoker Goodhart, I'm expecting some damn good brisket & ribs next time I'm up.

Smokers are awesome. I use mine all the time too.

Cheese, ribs, salmon, steaks, rib roasts etc. I've used it 1-2 times a week since I got it in October.

Those long range green lasers are lots of fun. I had one in Baghdad, we scared a lot of haji's with it!

Damn, how much do those seats weigh? They look stupid light.

Re: Christmas gifts 2013

10lbs each, carbon/kevlar. The pure carbon fiber ones are 5 lbs but not much padding on those, these are supposed to be more comfy than stock.

I don't have much more info on the laser, it's about 5" long, 3/4" wide, need to insert a key before you can turn it on. My dad's friend in China sent him some.

Goodhart, that smoker looks awesome, let us know how you like it.

Wow, $700??? My dad realized how ridiculous priced these are here and I think he's going to start a small business selling them for about $70.

I bought a wicked lasers arctic when it came out they are nice looking but most of them are not actually 1watt lucky if they are 500mw and the quality of the stuff inside isn't very good. Mine ended up going shot, I found someone from on laserpointerforums.com to mod it for me he put in a new driver and added a huge aluminum heat sink and a brand new diode. When he metered the output it now puts out 2.7 watts. If anyone is looking for a laser go to the buy, sell, trade section of laserpointerforums.com and look around everything on there will be of much better quality then you will find almost anywhere else.

What would you use those lasers for? Can you attach them to a firearm? Or are you guys planning on blinding airplane pilots?

Usually for burning or engraving or if you wanted, yes defense I guess. Definitely not for anything sky pointed... Back to the OP I'm eager to hear how the smoker works too!

Badass man! We have the Farley finally but it's still spendy. Hope you enjoy it! Come on over sometime to Gateway if you ever get the chance.

Thanks There is no way I could buy a new surly when they start at 1850.00
Had a short ride on it today. Need to rise the bars more. Also want to drill the rims to loose weight.

Drilled rims help a ton and so do some newer tires. 120 TPI and kevlar bead shave pounds. But those aren't cheap either. Just wait until you wear those down someday and find some online :)

Also if you need bar-mitts I might be able to help a little.

It has a brand new tire on the back. The guy had it put on this week. I been looking at tires and they are not cheap at all.

Nice smoker Goodhart. I wouldn't mind one myself. Brisket mmmmmm.

Cool seats for the Lotus Andrew.

The most notable item I got was a frequency drive for my Dake V16 band saw. It's a three phase saw and I have been starting it with a static phase converter, that method sucks. It will make it way better with this drive.

I also got a promotion at work the day before the Christmas break! Just being in school for the MBA is already paying off!

If you got the plug n play one it takes 15 minutes. I was looking at them too, but decided to skip it for $730. My seat warmers come on so fast that I can live with it, for now at least.
