TBH we're over book, and we know it. But every one of the 11 or so we've sold in the year and a half I've worked there, they're all sold for over book and in less than a week.

Re: FS: WW 2006 Evo IX

IX's are holding their values something crazy, it's a very desirable model for the guys who want the "raw performance" of the earlier Evos with none of the niceties the X offers.

It is my old car. Which yes is chucks old car.

Re: FS: WW 2006 Evo IX

You didn't own it long enough, or do enough of the mods to it, for it to be considered your car ;)

The car is in GREAT shape, parked next to it at work just about everyday! Good luck on the sale Bobby.

Re: FS: WW 2006 Evo IX

I have to say I'm a little surprised this car is still on the lot. It's been written up 4 times, but no one was able to get qualified on a loan for it. Bump!

Re: FS: WW 2006 Evo IX

Yeah, book value means nothing on these things, or most any really popular car. Eleven years ago, I was selling DSM's for over book, and as fast as I could find them. Good luck on the sale, looks like a nice car.

Nope, some 19 year old who's parents wrote a check for it.

Re: FS: WW 2006 Evo IX

My over under is now 3 months.

I talked to the guy who sold the car. Turns out the kid doesn't even know how to drive a manual...

AND Dave, the guy who sold it goes "How do you get it to switch to gas?" (a legit question)."
So I explain how the dual map works. He then goes "So, fast flashing is e85, slow flashing is 93. What about 87?"

Re: FS: WW 2006 Evo IX

I have a lot of people who just put a turbo on their car come in with 87 in the tank. I also had a 2013 STI in a few months ago for a tune that was knocking like crazy and I found out they had 87 octane in it.

Dealers typically don't take a trailer full of pieces as trade ;)
