2G auto S/A daily
 

Bought the car 3 weeks ago but finally got it last week. Due to weather and the car parked in his back yard and under a car port.

1998 auto GSX
Exterior is red
Interior is black with grey door panel inserts, grey seats
Tokico illuminas w/ eibach prokit springs
Trans lab shift kit on rebuild auto trans

Other than that the car is mostly stock

Plans for the car is to keep it simple

16g and some corn
Full black interior
Fog lights
Weight reduction while keeping it functional as a daily
Lightweight 16's carbon hood/hatch if money permits

Doing this budget build with either things I have in the garage or trading parts people may need for parts that I don't.

Have almost all parts needed just waiting on a few things and I can get it going then off to DB for a tune.

Best part of all car has no rust and is free of dents and scratches

I plan on keeping till fall. Then may be looking to sell

Mirage is tucked into the 3rd stall but yea it's pretty clean. Gotta get rid of this 99 N/A I bought since I'm stealing all the black interior out of it and a few other random shit like remote start/alarm fogs and misc switches that are worn in mine.

But yes cleaner than when you were over I'm sure.

As far as the wife I have no idea. I just tell her shit like its not mine. For example Joel owns the 99 N/A.

Looks good and glad it made it into good hands! Shame it sat for so long since that kid had a motor ready for it.

Didn't you have a red spyder too? Or was that the red GSX with the Blitz body kit? It was a while ago but I remember that red GSX.

Picked up some track wheels tonight. They are konig forwards. I was looking at these new in a 17x7 as they were only 17 or so lbs in that size and half the price of rpf1s. These popped up on Craigslist for $200 not to far from home and since i sold my 14" 4x100s this morning for $220. Figured what the hell color is wack but nothing a little plasti dip can't fix.

Everywhere online has these rims between 15-16 lbs and weigh them on a home scale and got 15lbs 10 oz.

Just gotta do a little more research on what tire size I can run but I think I found what I want but discount said they would rub. Time for some reasearch I guess.

I called powderkeg today. They want $80 a rim and that's just simply not in the budget when I could by new black ones for the price of coating and the cost of these. Nothing against them but $300 for coating is my kiggly in a 2g kit or a set of cams. Which I need more than some coatings.

Just thinking black plati dip. I know played out but black on red looks so good. IMO

Yeah sold those to get these. I plan on rocking these on the mirage once its done and this car is gone. Then I may decide to put a nice powder coat finish on them.

Gotta have your priority s straight. Lol. By my calculations I already dropped 18-22lbs of rotating weight. Now if I can only find a sweet feet on some some rotors with aluminum hats.
