DD shopping. $15k,GO!
What can I get for $15k, that I'd like to drive and wouldn't be crazy expensive to drive, aka Giant trucks and crap.
I'd like 4 doors and manual or auto. Leaning toward a '07 and up civic 4dr. |

I had my eye on a evo 9 RS for cheap, but the no power windows and locks are kind of a deal breaker for me. It would be weird to get something newer with less amenities.
I wish it was a normal 9. The wife wants me to get rid of the civic if i get something else and thinks I should shop around for that price range and see what comes up. I did find an '06 acura RL awd with 67k miles on it. 3.2 6 cyl. |

RL is a good choice as well. Actually a lot of cars in that range. TL, G35x, TSX, LGT, WRX, etc.

Newer Lexus GS's can be around that range if you look around or some lower mileage gs300/400 would make a sweet daily too |

Right now the drive is 20 miles each way, we are building a new clinic in blaine then my commute will be 1.5 miles or coon rapids is close to 7-8 miles.

I think a newer version in a 4dr. will be perfect and something I can keep around forever. |

Test drive an RL before you decide. On paper i thought the RL would be perfect, but driving it was a snooooze fest.

Get a fucking evo, youre always saying if you werent buying a house you'd get one. Well for 15k or 16k you can get a really nice one. Look around evom, theres a evo 9 thats tits in Nebraska for 18k or offer. offer him 16,500. Or just buy an evo 8!! and have 3k left for 11s!!

Phil Locascio Selling my 03 evo apex silver with 98k. ssl interior and bbs wheels. Built motor, gsc s2, Fp green, full exhaust, toxic fab dump, brand stm clutch fork stop and new comp sprung clutch 1/2 mile driven on all new fluids through out and had full timing and water pump service done to. I have about 20k in total in parts and labor Just spent 2k getting it serviced with all oem or better parts. Only reason selling is I can't afford insurance with my driving record or else I'd keep it. Probably won't get much support from others.. but I really like our little 2003 a4 quattro, and they're very cheap nowadays. We paid 12k for it about 5 years ago and other than a coil pack here and there ($15/ea, I just keep a few in the trunk), it's been a great car. I put a k04, injectors, and apr tune on it to give it a little extra pep and it's been a nice reliable dd.
