If you are going on the weekend, be there before it opens to get in line, just saying, they are really busy as of late. I might go, we shall see, need to see what my schedule is like.

Re: Gun range this weekend

I'm down for Sunday morning. does the bills range in Hudson have a 50 yard Range or only 25? bills in Circle Pines is a 50 yard. Robbinsdale is only 25

Re: Gun range this weekend

I have never been to the one in hudson. 25 yards is enough for me since I havent shot a handgun much. But any place is fine for me. Should we just say circle pine sunday be there before they open?

Trogdor 01-29-2013 03:19 PM

Re: Gun range this weekend

Farther away for you, but right by Murlow and I. Has a 50 yard range too.

I want to go, but I am super lazy on weekends and its the only time I get to sleep in.

It will depend on what I do Saturday night. I won't make any promises but I will try to get there if its the circle pines one.

If I were allowed to draw and do fun stuff, I'd join. Obviously that's not allowed there. Have fun, guys.

Zero drawing at any local public range. Unless you're there for a competition.

It sounds dumb until you realize a lot of the idiots there can't even keep the barrel down range. Or load only at the lane, or keep their booger hooks off the trigger until they're aiming.

Re: Gun range this weekend

I am bringing my SCAR with Goodharts ACOG if I go. I am going to try and go for sure. We should make sure to try and get 3 people per lane so we can get a lane. There is no time limit so if we get it earlier we are all good.

I only have 100 rounds or so but I will let you guys fire off some if you want. (Assuming I make it)

93gtpeater 01-29-2013 10:35 PM

Re: Gun range this weekend

We should have 3 going for sure.

Re: Gun range this weekend

I really want to try my saiga 12 I just bought. But I dont what kind of ammo I can shoot.

1QUICK4 01-30-2013 12:26 PM

Re: Gun range this weekend

The saiga will shoot anything. Might take a bit of break in to shoot the really light stuff though

93gtpeater 01-30-2013 12:47 PM

Re: Gun range this weekend

So full brass lead shot will be fine at the range?

IIRC Saiga 12s accept 2 3/4" and 3" shells. Go grab some of the military 00 buck from Fleet Farm. Or you could be a pansy and try #8 birdshot.:)

Re: Gun range this weekend

No pansy here. 00 buck shot it is. I will hit up fleet farm tonight after work.
