For me it would be

2. Dream Theater
3. Queensryche
4. Fates Warning
5. Alice in Chains

6. Metallica
7. Staind
8. Dokken
9. Van Halen

You named most of mine, Mike. The only one I've never heard of is Fate's Warning. I would have to think they have at least something in common with the other bands you have listed. What's ome of their songs?

Jeff Tate has got an awesome voice to listen to. I still have to get a few of their albums. I remember listening to Empire over and over again when i was in high school. Then I got ahold of Operation Mindcrime (granted it came out before Empire but Empire was the first album of theirs I listened to, then got into Mindcrime) and could let go of it.

I noticed a few people saying that 5 is to narrow of a list for them, so make it 10.
Those who have already posted can go back and edit there post if they like. Or just post another list.

Shane@DBPerformance 11-03-2003 11:15 PM

Even 10 is hard to pick from, but for sake of some variety if I could only listen to 10...

Front Line Assembly
Ministry
LFO (not the boy band)
Pop Will Eat Itself
Skinny Puppy
Jeff Mills
Meg Lee Chin
Sex Pistols
Orbital
NWA

It would be a lot easier to pick 5 or 10 bands I hate the most. Creed would probably be #1 on that list.

Yep, Creed can be cheesy at times. Ministry was the band when the techno craze of the early 90's was sweeping the TC. I think I still have scars from the mosh pit at First Ave.

Bands I hate would be any 3-chord death metal band that wears face paint or masks. Quality music doesn't need stage theatrics to sell.

"at times" ??? ugh.. :liar: Creed can go jump off a cliff, then we'd all be :toast: :slap: Sorry, just can't stand creed as much as I can't stand Garth Brooks. :headache:
