$20 trillion is pretty optimistic considering it went up $5.5 trillion in less than 4 years. Obama wasn't the worst president we have had, but some of his aspirations for government run programs have me worried. I still think we need to get some rich mofo in there that won't be corrupted to straighten this out. Trump in '16!

LOL Yes I was kidding, settle down Tom :P

Re: WELP

Obama is not the worst president we have had. He didnt add much (most of the debt is interest on interest). I just hope republicans get it through their thick skulls that they have to come to the table and compromise or else the masses will see this and oust them. Its time that government gets shit done and stops this damn filibustering and playing the "my way or the highway" game. Unemployment is dropping, the economy is rising, Government jobs are down, private sector jobs are up, Manufacturing jobs are being added for the first time in MANY years. We will see a much better economy as a whole come over the next 4 years, but it will take effort on both sides.

This. My dad already had to downsize his business to just him within the last 4 years after having employees under him since he bought the business 30 years ago. Hopefully he can keep it going.

Re: WELP

Unemployment is down cause people burned up all their benefits and can no longer be on UI. Where is your stat for that?

Seems both sides just have some fuckin bar graph or pie chart for everything to show how great they are.

If that is the case we have an APR of over 10%, holy hell! Transfer payments are actually what has caused the major hit in our spending, most of which he is not directly responsible for, unemployment, medicare, social security, etc.

We had an office pool at work which was to guess the electoral votes of the results and as a tie breaker guess the pop vote. And i won with a perfect score. guessed Obama 332 Romney 206
Obama with 53.5%
I dont think he will get the pop vote up to 53% but as soon as he takes florida i will have won on the electoral votes. woot

Re: WELP

After the last election, I broke down and said to myself - lets see what he can do.

After this election, I find it extremely tough to ask myself the same question.

Who increased the deficit? Who caused the economic breakdown? Who caused the unemployment rate to go up?

That does not matter to me. Who is going to fix it? I gave Obama the last four years to try and move the needle, but it didn't. Not at all. In my mind, he doesn't deserve another chance. He had his.

America. While I am glad I have the freedom to express my opinion, I'm not proud of how America voted. I am actually embarrassed in a way.

Four more years of Obama. Let's see what he can do, I guess. He can't make it any worse, right?

Fucking hell! I was going to go to Bill's this week with a co-worker of mine. I went out this morning to buy some ammo and there was seriously nothing left. I went to a Walmart, Fleet Farm, Gander and Dicks. All of them were out of the cheap range ammo.

Is there a discussion? I thought it was just some people being upset about the election results?

No way hunting season would deplete all of a stores stocks. Plus I'm pretty sure trog only shoots handguns.

Actually most of minnesota is handgun/shotgun only. I hunt with a "pistol" every year except this one.

Re: WELP

Its about 50/50 actually, but hunting with a pistol would be hard haha.

Area wise yes, but the amount of hunters is predominantly in the shotgun/pistol area. Pistol is harder than shotgun, but I have a few relatives that hunt pistol also. Here was mine from last year.

It's extremely low on my list, I just thought it would be fun to start the anti gun debates right away!

A friend of mine just spent 10 grand on 3 AR's and ammo the week before the elections.

Apparently Obama contacted the UN the day after the elections to make it so if you buy 1000 rounds of ammo, you have to register it as if it were a firearm.

Fucking bullshit! Glad I have plenty stocked up.

1QUICK4 11-10-2012 06:18 PM

Re: WELP

Sounds like propaganda to me. The last big ammo scare Federal in Anoka had a full warehouse yet the shelves were empty. Prices went up damn near 20%

Glad I started stocking up on ammo 15 years ago.

Source?

The only thing I've read is that Obama is supporting talks around international and global arms trading.
