Nice! I have a 95 with the 5.0. Mine isn't anything fantastic, but they're fun cars. I'm putting some cash aside for something fun to put in it this winter!

What kind of power are you hoping for?

golden763 07-13-2012 08:37 PM

Re: My mustang build : )

That's wat makes it a good Ford engine lol..... and hoping for 600 which I'm prolly close I'm running over 15 pounds now no reason shouldn't make at least 600

Nice, dynojet or mustang dyno?

93gtpeater 07-13-2012 11:24 PM

Re: My mustang build : )

Iam sure at the crank or dynojet. Thats alot of power for that motor. I wanted to do the same thing to my camaro. 350 with a single turbo budget build.

Re: My mustang build : )

Don't really know the difference between mustang or dynojet and dunno pretty sure 600 is very doable with that motor

evotuner 07-14-2012 11:43 AM

Re: My mustang build : )

dynojets read higher numbers, mustang dyno reads lower also known as the heartbreaker lol.

for example my car would be close to 500 on a dynojet after putting 425 on a mustang dyno

golden763 07-14-2012 01:02 PM

Re: My mustang build : )

Which is the actual number

tehehodi 07-14-2012 04:19 PM

Re: My mustang build : )

Doesn't it matter if it's 2wd or 4wd for the difference?

Numbers are numbers, as long as it's tuned!

Actually Dyno Dynamics dyno's are known as the heartbreaker.

Golden, don't worry about dyno numbers, worry about the track numbers.

Re: My mustang build : )

Ya I suppose get absolutely no traction thru 2nd so don't think it will do very good

Both, they're just different means of showing HP/TQ

This, I wasnt trying to be an ass, I was just wondering what he was shooting for. Because a lot of guys say I want 500whp and they do it on a dynojet and for some guys who dont use dynojets they tend to roll there eyes a little.

Yes the dyno dynamics is technically a little lower, but not a whole lot. And youre right track numbers are #1 if not youre just bench racing :cheer:
