Kracka's Birthday, the big 3-0!!! 5PM Saturday, July 21st
 

I'll be driving up again for my annual lake week vacation and figured we should put together something again for my birthday. The preview two years we've done Smalley's Caribbean BBQ & Pirate Bar and Mayslack's. Suggestions for this year? I want it fun and memorable, nothing too run-of-the-mill. I thought about Psycho Suzie's last year, but they don't take reservations and their party rooms are secluded and expensive. Ideally it would be some place we could eat dinner and continue drinking at, or at least have a good drinking hole within walking distance.

I'm thinking I'd like to check out Psycho Suzie's patio since they renovated it since I moved to Tejas. They won't take patio reservations, but I'm thinking if we all just go a bit on the early side, say 5pm, we should be able to snag up a decent amount of real estate for the group.

So...I've been hearing a lot of bad about Suzi's lately and basically people are saying the service completely sucks. Is this true? Who's been recently? It also worries me that they won't take reservations of any kind.

I can't make it. Gotta go to my brothers wedding. I haven't been there in a while, but I'd be concerned about getting a big enough table since they don't take reservations. That place is always super busy.

Just get there a bit early and youll be fine. We waited for a large group of 15 or so and got seated eventually on a busy night. Just have drinks at the bar till a table opens. Wish I could make it!

im going to have to say dont go there..went there about a month ago and go the worst service ever.. waitress was horrible..not to mention the bar tender took one of our group members credit cards to hold a tab (which apparently per manager there not suppose to hold cards) and then got off his shift and never returned it then bar staff could not find it. I wont be going there again for a long time.

You cant really base an entire place off one waitress. Ive never had a bad experience there in the few times Ive gone. Should have called the manager over and got free stuff! That always works.

we did call the manager over and he gave that woman he meal for free as she had no way to pay for it..I have been there many times and I never really enjoyed the long waits and slow service..its not just one server...you should read the online reviews of that place.

Holy shit...I just read through all the Urbanspoon reviews!

So, who has an idea for a new venue? Or should we just say fuck it an go anyway? If it sucks, it sucks, and we'll go elsewhere (or break out the flasks)?
