This time I will be there with my car!! I was unfortunatly unable to make it to the 2011 event with my car but was still able to be a spectator and get white boy wasted:wink:

Went to the import vs. domestic and that was a bust but I was able to get a lot more runs in then if I were to have the car at Proving grounds. I was sad to see all my friends out running there cars that weekend and am down for for 2012!

I really want to do the road course in 2012, but it's hard to pass up such an open drag track. Maybe if there was some shit-talking/side betting involved I might be motivated :)

Any idea if it will be partnered with the diesel's again? Also any idea if there will be improvements to cut down on time spent in tech inspect and staging/waiting for drag racing?

^This last season is should have switched from Snell 2000 to Snell 2005.

I want to figure out something where you can pay a smaller fee and do just one session. I'll have more details on this later.


Road course will require any SNELL2005 and newer.

I like this idea. I think the Evo's will dominate. that is if GST Motorsports doesnt show up with their Impreza L. :frown:

Something i wanted to do the last 2 years. I wanted to setup a triple challenge. Drag race, Auto-X, and Road course. using a formula (to create each event equal) multiplied by your times. This would be the ultimate driver/car challenge.

Maybe Mitsu vs Subaru, so I can get out there with the 1G. :)

Any idea what the Mitsu to Subaru ratio was on the road course last year? I don't remember there being too many Subarus even there.

I would be all over this if you could make it happen. Might know a few guys that would as well. The biggest obstacle would be event timing... there is still a lot of overlap (which can't really be avoided).

Last year a couple of us on the road course thought it be fun to run in all 3 events, but as it turns out the autox, drag, and road course events are going on at the same time for the timed events. Hopefully you can get this sorted out for next year, I know myself and 2 others that will be game for that challenge for sure.

It might still work. Day 1 last year was practice / timed autoX #1, Road Course, and open drag practice. Day 2 was timed autoX #2, and Drag shootout. Even making it to the final in the largest field in drag, I had ample time to get my junk over to the autoX to get tech'd and all the runs. If I had elected to do the road course on day 1, instead of just drag, all 3 would have been possible that weekend.

Um, i've done it plenty of times and turns out even on teh street I don't spin out on corners and at the auto-x i do pretty good, hell I came within .02 secs of beating the driver of a car who had been doing auto-x all year and previously before and that was my first time in that car!

But well that's how that went, now please tell us all your wisdom from running off the road, car crashes, the internet and of course forza. :wink:

Also I plan on taking home the stock appearing trophy if i make this event, with a 16G.

I have a question, why is everyone so against drag racing here?

Considering that's all DSMs are really good for?

I hope they can set up road racing and drag, i'd like to do those.
