Saturday July 16th:
Gates Open: 7AM
Tech Opens: 8AM
Drag Racing : 9AM – 5PM

Winners Circle – Trophy Ceremony @ 6PM
Drag Racing will be $25 per driver
$10 Entry fee at the gates for spectators – Chump car races will also be running on the road coarse, great fun for the whole family!

Racers must list forum represented on tech card!

1 - 2 time trials based on weather and car count.

Start eliminations and still allow time trials between racing.

4 lanes for time trials, 2 random, 2 for grudge matches or call outs.

Classes:

Outlaw:
Any Power adders
Any tires
Heads up pro tree

True street:
Limited or no power adders
Tire restrictions
Heads up pro tree

Strip Eliminator 1 (se1)
11.49 and quicker
handicap start .5 full tree

Strip Eliminator 2 (se2)
11.5 and slower
handicap start .5 full tree

10, 11, 12, 13 sec index classes
Heads up pro tree

8 total classes.

What is a wild guess on how many cars you'll think will be drag racing? How many imports? How many domestics? Just curious.

Wish we had some insight to answer this for you. I have seen a good response on both import and domestic forums. I expect a pretty even turnout, looking at the weekends weather I suspect it will be a good turnout. But it's our first time with this event so I don't expect it to be crazy busy either.

Well I didn't get a good clean run in on my new setup.. this was also my first time launching my car with the new setup aswell. My best time was 12.4 at 116.... not too happy with it but it will do for my first time. 1.7 60' and I broke an axle so I'm on my way home.

Ya the 60' was what I liked but I can't for the life of me find an axle "YET" if it comes down to I can't get one then I think I'm going to order 2 rears from DSMgraveyard that are good for 800hp.. there like 229 a peice so lets hope I can find one that can get my car back on ther road.

Is it FWD? Cause if it's AWD, a 1.7 isn't that terrible of a 60ft at all...? I'd think you were takin a nap between shifts with a 116 mph trap?

How many runs did you get in Chris? Am I reading it right that you only got one? If so then don't sweat all of the details, it takes a few runs to get in the grove, at least for me (uber-newb)

I got in at least 8 runs... So driver error and need nlts turned on.. BUT I had my boost turned down to only 21psi because I was breaking up at higher boost. I replaced my plugs and turned it back up to 27psi and then boom goes the axle...

NLTS won't help you with 20mph.

True but with slow shifting I was losing rpms and boost. This would help.

If your the Guy with the red 2G you can pick up alot with NLTS and quicker shifts.

Its all practice and it was fun just tooooooooo hot and humid!

Yes, that was me and I was thinking the same thing. Do you think that the humidity makes that much of a difference?

Its the driver. Get the car together and get driving.

It was obviously too hot/humid for any record passes, meaning that even if you did break a record you would still do better on a cooler day.

Even with the heat, sounds like a few still broke some personal records.

Dam so close to the 9s. Once you get your 60 foots down you will get deep in to the 9s.

It was 28mph........ it was only 28psi up in 4th so it will go faster withe a few more pounds of boost:)
