So the dbag that bought my old silver evo now has it up for sale on CL, the listing is pure shit and he has no clue what he bought. I will admit the car when he bought it wasnt the best but it still had some nice stuff on it. Well I sold it for right around $9500 and now he put 2 tires on it and a spoiler and wants 14.9k. Totally not worth anything over 10.5k. Heres the CL ad, I hope everyone who reads it will flag it.

I just got a text from the guy saying he sold it to some kid for 14k today. Whoever just bought this is in for a disapointment if he believed all of that ad. Maybe he will join on here or already is a member.

idk what the fuss is all about. I'm not saying it's right to rip somebody off, but if it just had a little surface rust and whatnot that the buyer could obviously see then what's the big deal? Now if there were engine problems that the buyer was unaware of then that's a totally different story imo.

Did you read his ad? It said he put 9 k into the engine. I sold it with a built head and that all. This guy had no idea what a turbo was when he bought it.

I love my new 03 Silver Evo!! Just bought it yesterday and it is the best 14K I ever spent!!!! The guy told me it was the bestest Evo out there for the money!!

:lol: I kinda feel bad for whoever bought it...But only someone who either has tons of money and doesn't care or has no idea what he bought (I think we all know it's the latter) would pay 14k for that. Exactly. I was pretty attached to my old dsm, but ended up selling it to some smoker kid that didn't even know how to drive a stick. I had to teach him how to drive it just so he could drive it home. He almost curbed up the front bumper because he couldn't feather the clutch when he was backing out of a parking spot. Moral of the story: I got my asking price and moved on.

if i could sell my car for my asking price, i'd sell it. :) It just sucks seeing these Evo's go into the wrong hands and seeing them built poorly or being taken care of poorly.
