LSx sounds, please post good videos
 

I'm looking for videos of good sounding LSx motors, i fully believe LSx motors were touched by the hand of god, but they sure don't sound like it, at least not that I can remember.

I can find plenty of great sounding 2JZs and VQ motors and such, but nothing V8 that sounds good to me, just sounds like the loud obnoxious crap I usually run into around here and is usually pretty slow anyway.

Dude i totally forgot you had one, I need a ride and for you to do some pulls while i try to keep up or something.

Something just doesn't turn me on about the sound unlike the 6 cyls, but my brain and everything else says that teh lsx is better.
What is wrong with me?

I'm waiting for munchgsx and old man hill to post up some vids in here, they are chevy dudes.

Just wanted to clairify. The videos that have been posted are not of the LSX engine. LSX is a cast iron block based on the LS7. It can handle upwards of 2500 hp.

At the 2006 SEMA show, GM Performance Parts introduced the LSX engine, an all-new cast-iron racing block based on the LS7 engine. It was designed with help from drag racing legend Warren Johnson. It offers displacements ranging from 364 cubic inches to 511 cubic inches (4.25 in (108 mm) Bore x 4.5 in (114.3 mm) Stroke) and is capable of withstanding 2,500 bhp (1,900 kW). This block incorporates two extra rows of head-bolt holes per bank for increased clamping capacity. The six bolt steel main caps are the same ones used on the LS7 engine. The engine debuted at the auto show in a customized 1969 Camaro owned by Reggie Jackson. The LSX will be available starting the second quarter of 2007, set to be available in authorized dealerships and retailers on March 31, 2007.

Really?? You like the sound of raspy Chevy engines? Soundwise, I think they are the worst sounding V8s ever. Go listen to a Ford or Lexus or whatever V8.

The lexus V8 is hotness def. up there, but they can't handle too much for power and everything for them is downunder.

I know too many people with ford V8s, but they do sound good. I see what you are saying with the GM stuff, but I think they have that raw brute force sound to them.

i used to be a chevy guy converted to these dam dsm's

i really love the sound of a ls1 but it cant do justce to a inline 6

what you will never see is a bmw inline 6 in a 240 hmmm there engines are strong + all forged from factory and there not too pricey there is a good aftermarket for them too .
