Well we got back in town after 3 weeks of racing and testing. I am beat. But the car ran some good numbers. This year started like shit. It began with a 24 hour drive straight to Bullish Motoracing. We got the new program in and got the car to run fine. So we dicided to try the 2 step. First time on the 2 step it made 38 PSI shot a rocker arm off, wedged it between the cam and the valve, pushed the valve into the piston and bent the shit out of the valve. That was the night I was suppose to leave for Florida. So I proceeded to work most of the night and the next morning to fix it. About the time the sun came up I was leaving for Florida. I got to Florida and we got the car all back together and running and raced up to make the 1st pass. I ran a 7.96@171 with low boost. 2nd pass It ran 7.77@175. 3rd pass I left the rearend, axels, driveshaft and tranny on the starting line. That was the end of my weekend. I had all the parts except a driveshaft. The following weekend I went to Virginia for the Nopi race. 1st pass I ran 7.82@175. 2nd pass I ran 7.77@175. 3rd pass I set the national record with a 7.59@177. We qualified #1 and won the race. No broken parts. With the numbers I ran we did the math and figured the car is making 1160 HP at the crank.

Just wanted to give you the latest on my heap

That is freaking awesome. I say next time your back in MN bring it to a Rock Falls event lol, that would be sweet!.

Nice job   :toast: :jammin:

Shane@DBPerformance 05-03-2004 10:22 PM

It would probably lose traction and go into the wall at that fine track. The old AWD was all over the place trying to run 9s there.

AJ 05-03-2004 10:43 PM

AWESOME! Thanks for the updates!

carltalon 05-03-2004 11:01 PM

AWSOME #'s. I need to see that thing in action!

Jacek 05-03-2004 11:13 PM

What are you goals for this year if you don't mind me asking? Sleep well

Jakey 05-03-2004 11:47 PM

Awesome Brent, if you don't mind me asking, what type of driveshaft do you use? The reason I'm asking is because I'm working on a project here at school involving a custom driveshaft for our 1/4 Scale Tractor Pulling Tractor and it's quite interesting to see the variety of options available for aftermarket driveshafts.

Raptor 05-03-2004 11:58 PM

Nice numbers Brent, especially after all the late night candle burning. :3gears:

Goat Blower 05-04-2004 12:06 AM

Nice work Brent. The new changes to the car look good from what I can tell. I gotta get down and see them in person.

maybe if you read the whole thread, you'd understand, noob. i was talking about interstate dragways, outside of moorhead. i think it sucks. how many more people do i get to explain this to?
You need to relax a bit and watch the shit you type. Not just this thread either.

JDM 05-06-2004 11:27 PM

Easy Guys. It's getting hot in herre.

Let's all get along, huh? :grouphug:

FattyBoomBatty 05-07-2004 12:06 PM

well now that it's totally hijacked, i'll add my final quip to this thread.

he said something about interstate dragways, i spoke my mind which was hurting no one, the people started delving into minute details which they could figure out themselves. what am i saying that's so bad?

TheBlizzard 05-07-2004 10:22 PM
