Just south of REI. Odd the first time you go, nbd once you're there. Weirdest thing is that its around the back of a welding shop. Good setup though, jeff is legit.

Just don't get wasted the night before your supposed to be there on the weekend and show up late. Rember even though it's cheaper you still have to pay more for shims for the rear, I still have to go back and have rear shims put in. $30+ for shims and I'm sure he plans on charging me more to put them in, not sure if I will go back.

He's the best, just don't expect the same warm smile you'd get at Tires Plus.

How dare he charge you for needed supplies/parts! Give me a break...what he charges $30 for you can bet anywhere else would charge you $50+.

So why is that his fault? He'd rather do it right than get it close and call it good like any other shop would do. There is a reason the majority of the local motorsport community goes to him and him alone.

$60 for ABSOLUTE stock and $80 for aftermarket, this includes if you have springs. Compared to a standard shop with a fucking border line retarded teenager doing your alignment at around 100-120 for any setup. Plus a lot of shops won't touch aftermarket stuff.

I will be taking all of my cars there from now on, the man is the shizzznit!

Yep, I've borrowed his fender roller twice, and he let me use his huge bench vice when I had a coilover body that was seized to the sleeve.

Just a rebuttal here, I have no problem paying people that know what they are doing and I am not a fan of 18year old kids doing my alignment but it was advertised as being the cheapest alignment around and when all was said and done it cost as much as any other place. Ontop of that I just realized that he told me last year I need shims for the rear on my FWD 1G to align it correctly and it turns out he was incorrect and FWD's don't need shims for the rear so what was that about having a 18year old do your alignment again Doughtcom?

So what if it does cost as much as somewhere else, you're getting a better service for the same money. If you don't like it, go somewhere else.

Thanks celica brad, yeah.. had no idea google would be that easy to find the e-mail for a guy named jeff, who works in the back corner of a random building in the west metro. I was wrong.

Did he email you back? I know he was going to try to respond to emails more quickly. He checks facebook pretty often, so another option is to friend him there.

OR just call.

Yea, I called a few times, but I did get an email reply. I'm tryign to figure out when I can get it in, I still have to do my pass. side hub and tie rod end before I can get an accurate alignment, plus buy a new set of 4 tires. bleh :/

Calling is probably the last way I would try to get a hold of Jeff. He only answers when he is free or sitting at his desk, otherwise he is working on something. E-mail, PM on the MNAutox.com board, or FB are the fastest.

Top notch work, and a really nice guy at heart. He only charges for what is actually done, but he charges realistically. I wish my shop (small privately owned shop) could charge like he does. If you car is super rusty, and he has to spend 20min torching it, he charges rust time, and rightly so. It's not his fault you have a rusty POS. On the other side, if he spends time BSing with people, and the car takes longer because of it, he doesn't charge for it. He's bailed a lot of people out of jams. I can't think of a more deserving guy of our business. Given the Tires Plus and other money goes straight out of state. I rather help someone out locally that is doing right by out community.

I've never gotten to the point of actually dealing with him because he is terrible at responding to emails/calls/whatever. I've tried twice for two different cars and just ended up saying fuck it. I hear he's good though if you can actually get him to respond to you.
