Dyno Day - Last minute mods and call-outs!
 

Man I need to keep the beater stock-ish for its upcoming trip to the dealer, but its SO hard to fight the bug! She made 240 last friday and 255 with a little help from shane. I threw a pannel air filter in and the car feels up 10-15whp! I'm tempted to crank down the WGA to hold a bit more boost up top, this stock 15g is such a pu$$y! Car needs a testpipe too, but I reaaaaaallly don't want to touch it until after the dealer visit.

Anyone else have any last-minute plans?

My talon won't be there, I fell short on money. :(

The Subaru should be there, Kevin might be the only one saving me from getting lowest HP this time around haha. I expect maybe 165-175 out of mine. Still trying to talk emily into putting her Galant on the rollers, that thing should make a solid 200 fwhp or so.

I'm still planning on using your engine hoist yet this spring, I'm on the swifty time plan right now. You can have it back any time if you need it though. :-)

Was it your car that had the tach issue at MAP? Hopefully DB can sort that.

Can't call me out..not tuned. DB didn't have any openings before then, so I will await till I can tune. Not my fault either..can't help Shane's a busy mo-fo.

I hope I can get my car back together in time with Carpsychos help. Pulled the oil pump housing after the pump shaft wouldn't turn freely by hand. What i discovered made me almost cry.

My car is DONE... Again. I will be starting her up tonight to do my checks and set the base timing again. took 3 days because of watching the baby and such. But i made sure everything was taken care of, just waiting for the silicone to dry on the FMIC pipe by the TB. then ill start her up and finish up the break in miles.
I looked at the new cylinder and it feels perfect, smooth as a babies bottom.
Also after i finished tonight i did the first oil change (25 miles).

Didn't want to whore up the prize thread, but that shit is simply amazing. You outdid yourself there, a big thanks.

No holset power I'm afraid a local decided it would be a good idea to reset fuel trims when I had everything set, plus I don't want to provide fireworks for this one.

its nothing that will add power. Id consider dyno ing but id like to replace the fuel filter and throw some new plugs in that day

Yeah, you should go to an auto parts store.

Don't recall who it was but they replaced a brake line in MAP's parking lot last time around...spent hours on it.
