i heard somewhere a lot of those are fake, they are taking the names and collecting them, at the end of the petition they will hand it over to Mitsu for "petition" purposes.... and hence they get your name..

553, I voted again, but under my brothers name....is that cheating??

Mr Raced 04-21-2004 09:19 PM

No, not at all. It shows how much the car is needed.

According to page 48 in this months Road and Track magazine..."Forget about Mitsubishi's Lancer Evolution. Why? Because that is exactly what you will do after you drive the new Lancer Evolution MR (Mitsubishi Racing). You want numbers? How about 0-60 mph in 4.3 sec., 0.98g on the skidpad and 70.8 mph through the slalom? A new turbocharger raises torque from 273lb.-ft to 295, while horsepower is estimated at 285, although a good portion of the quicker acceleration is thanks to a new 6-speed manual. An aluminum roof and lighter BBs wheels contribute to a 300-lb. weight loss. Revised suspension tuningabd Mitsubishi's ACD (Active Center Differential) give the Evo MR great balance, with no understeer to be found. The MR should arrive in the U.S. later this year, for about $33,000. See the inaugural issue of Road&Track SPEED magazine for our exclusive full road test." - Sam Mitchell
