Ehh, my new one isn't quite that fast, but not to far off.
Gigabit UD3 Cpu-Core i7 860 (Stock 2.80, stock cooler) 4GB OCZ 1600, not sure on the clocks, whatever it wanted when I fired it up. ATI 5770 Intel X25M 60GB SSD, 10,000 RPM 74GB Raptor, 2x 1TB WD's. (The Raptor and 1 of the TB HDD's were transferd from my old computer) 750 watt Corsair PSU Antec 902 case Windows 7 Stock clocks on everything, what's most important is that it makes 1/4 the noise of my old computer and has 1 billionty times the power. |

Im pretty sure that 860 will overlock pretty close to how a 920 will. Get an aftermarket heatink and let er buck.
As far as the memory goes, you may want to check your bios as they may not be running at 1600mhz. Quote:

its on air, i have the v8 also. off the top of my head i dont remember what the volts are, i wanna say around 1.95 for the ram, but the cpu is on auto.
ill have to turn the overclocking down a bit as the weather pics up, right now its very cool where the case sits. the case right now is sitting by a drafty fireplace so the extra cool air blowing in from outside helps. |

Lol yes I am a nerd at heart. I built my first computer when I was 8 years old, my beloved 80286! That thing would probably get a 3dMark Vantage score of .000015, lol.

Id be down for Ut3. I dont have it but i used to be the shit at the original Unreal tournament. Dirt 2 is pretty freakin sweet, but I only have the demo.

I used to play starcraft and warcraft 3 alot back in the day used to be really good at starcraft had like 300 wins online, never really got to awesome at warcraft 3 though.

Here is the run down on my rig I build a little over a year ago: - EVGA 780i FTW edition mobo with a 80mm north bridge fan - Intel E8400 E0 stepping lapped running at 4.275ghz 1.376 volts - XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 Processor cooler lapped and custom hold down bolts and back brace -Geil pc6400 800mhz DDR2 stock speeds and volts -2 BFG 9800GTX+'s graphics cards in SLI Vmodded to 1.385volts running 864/2052/2448 using the tri SLI bridge -custom Cooler Master case and 8 120mm fans -Antec 850 modular power supply -80gb wd main hd -320gb wd storage drive -Windows XP -DVD burner drive -not so good key board and mouse -Samsung 24" 1920x1200 5ms monitor My system as passed many hours of Prime 95 and 15 passes of ITB test. My temps are good for all air cooling. CPU idles at 31c and even ITB did not break 60c, prime 95 hovers around 48c. My graphics cards idle at 39c/42c and full load at 52c/55c my bottom card runs a little hotter then the top card. I have run some benches, but I play COD4 and GRID along with surfing the internet. But here is the run down of the best I have managed: Mark03: 83,771 - BFG 9800GTX+ 862/2002/2400 SLi - E8400 @ 4.725Ghz 1.56v Ram@ 800mhz 4-4-4-14-2t - Air http://service.futuremark.com/result...&resultType=10 Mark 06: 21,572 - BFG 9800GTX+ 862/2002/2400 SLi - E8400 @ 4.725Ghz 1.56v Ram@ 800mhz 4-4-4-14-2t - Air http://service.futuremark.com/result...&resultType=14 1M Pie/CPUZ record: 9.609 seconds - Intel E8400 @ 4950MHz@1.728v on air | 2x 1GB Geil PC6400 @ 800mhz 4-4-4-14-2t 2v [img=http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/6624/bednchrun.th.png] I have not re-run mark 03 or 06 with the Vmodded graphics cards, so these runners were at stock volts of 1.202volts. I can now bench the cards up to 882/2100/2500. I hit just over 15,000 with 3dmark Vantage, not bad for only one video card.
Tachyon, you better save up for a hefty electric bill because these systems pull some juice! I can see it now, we all get to your house, and on 1...2...3.. we turn all our systems, and you can see all of Prior Lakes lights dim in the distance..... |

cpu - 43000 gpu - 21000 total score - 24000 when i run in preformance mode like most the 3dmark vantages with links so i beleive i win nightjoker |
