I am getting this little Scummit Ready and can't wait to try it out on some dirt courses.

Just wondering if there was anything going on now that I am missing

I saw 'big course' somewhere associated with this event. Just not sure where.

I'm planning on dragging DoughtCom to this too, because it never hurts to have more cameras.

got my helmet, oil change tomorrow, clean the car out, check tire pressure, make numbers, charge the frs, pack water and snacks, and were good to go!

i'm guessing its gonna be really muddy. blah, I heard about the escapades last year and want nothing to do with that.

I might be giving this place a visit. I am new to the rallyX scene. I just want to see how my driving skills are and it will give me a chance to get my car a little dirty. Tachyon what do you say?

A buddy of mine is coming up from Iowa, so I may end up co-driving his B18 Civic, should be good fun regardless.

Pavement is for sissies!! Gotta get a little mud on the tires!!

Hell, I'm bringing 85 MR2 to play out there regardless of the conditions. A few AWD DSM's shouldn't be afraid of a little dirt and mud. Just ask Allan about how much fun it is in a DSM!!

Someone just might be making a return to the Rally World this year as well. Mazda body, v8 power. :)

the mud is most definitely not fine when it means you only get 2 runs in, and most of the time spent getting cars un-stuck.

regardless, I will most likely be there.

That was not an issue at all at the pictured event. The ground was frozen enough that the top turned to mud but it was solid below that, people were equating it to really slick pavement by the end.

The rainy events mid-season are the brutal ones.

this is not the case in the first event as spaz stated, the sec event when it rained and the ground was thawed sucked but some still got more than 2 runs in and was still fun to run.

awesome! so glad to see new faces I will post the caravan thread on here as well for those who are not members on mnsubaru its a good way to meet people before the race and not get lost on the way. dont forget to sing up on the scca website.

Would that be a little RWD action? Too bad you'd be in M2 for a class if it's what I'm thinking it is. Otherwise I'd say we could duke it out in PR this year. If I don't sell the MR2, it will running nearly all the events.

It would be awesome to get the original crew (AJ, Mark, Myself, and the other DSM's that ran from back in 03).

BTW, I stepped down this year as chairperson. Dave Goodman from the Subie forum is the new chairperson.

Start time has been moved up an hour for this event. Registration opens at 8am and goes until 9:30am.
