The COLT returns to America!
http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/02/m...ng-to-america/
very interesting if we get the turbo ralliart version. it should make an awesome DD. |
Re: The COLT returns to America!
Only thing thats cool about the colt is that it used to be light. I bet this thing weighs a lot, and its super ugly.
|
Re: The COLT returns to America!
Nice. I'll be in the market for a DD next Fall.

Re: The COLT returns to America!

Re: The COLT returns to America!
there is a ton of parts out there for it already and the ralliart one looks a ton better as a hatch. but they are alot bigger than Ali's hatch

Re: The COLT returns to America!
If the ralliart is fairly quick it would be neat. I like ugly fast cars so why not.

Re: The COLT returns to America!
Looks like a 4 door smart, gross. Are those 185 series tires? They look like donuts.

Re: The COLT returns to America!
For a minivan, its not bad......... barf.
|
Re: The COLT returns to America!
I don't think they look THAT bad. If the US edition is awd, turbo, and lighter than the evo I can see them being pretty popular.
|
Re: The COLT returns to America!
+1 for the fundamentals, -5 for the body design department.
|
Re: The COLT returns to America!
Ralliart doesn't look too bad
|
Re: The COLT returns to America!

Re: The COLT returns to America!
Hmmmm. The 2 door looks better than the 4 door... but what is mitsu's new obsession to make everything look like an Evo from the front?
This is the 2010 Outlander. http://www.drivearabia.com/news/wp-c...nder-2-450.jpg |

Re: The COLT returns to America!
I don't know if you guys noticed, but Colts were always fugly. I like it. And yes, there is and has been a 1.5l turbocharged model. I think it would be awesome commuter for like ~16k

Gross, I like old colt/mirage's but this is not doing it for me.
|
Re: The COLT returns to America!
I like the Ralli Art version.
|
Re: The COLT returns to America!
I think the older colts looked kinda cool. But this one looks aweful.

Re: The COLT returns to America!
Sounds like they are redesigning the colt before bringing it here.... so hold your horses..
http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/03/b...-new-global-s/ UPDATE: U.S. bound Mitsubishi Colt will be an all-new global small car by Jonny Lieberman (RSS feed) on Dec 3rd 2009 at 3:20PM Yesterday, we reported that Mitsubishi is bringing its small, B-segment Colt to our shores. And that's true, mostly. What we've learned between now and then is that Mitsu isn't bringing over the current Colt, but rather the replacement for the current Colt, i.e. the next Colt. In fact, Mitsubishi Motors Corp. President Osamu Masuko said as much during last month's Tokyo Motor Show. Here's what he told Automotive News: "Mitsubishi will follow that with a global small car in 2012. That car will be smaller than the Colt, which is sold in Japan and Europe, and will have a 1.0- to 1.3-liter gasoline engine. A plug-in hybrid version and all-electric version of the global small car are scheduled for 2013. Mitsubishi is studying which of those would best suit the United States. The scoop, then, is that this new global small car will be called Colt. As opposed to say, Havasu. |
