Nothing. Just enjoying the car for the rest of the summer. Not breaking anything. I hit my goal which was to run a 10 this year, so I'm plenty happy. Plus I go out of town this weekend for awhile. Come back then head right back out of town again. So won't have much time the rest of the year. I'm already planning for next season :)

I will be running on the Last day of RF (oct 25th). I haven't ran the car in 2 years with the "new" setup.

Pat, they wouldn't give me a purple name for calling them out. They know it's all in good fun. Plus, they'd be cowards if they hide like that rather then face lonely old me! ;)

Yes, good for you Hughes. My issue is drivetrain load/shock off the line. I plan on setting the 2-step up a bit high, and just spinning out the hole. I'd rather spin then hook then just hook, and snap. Keep in mind, the car WILL drive to and from the track.

Oh no you don't. Do NOT turn this back on me! I'm a computer geek with a car hobby. I never have claimed to have a fast car and have never aspired to drag it or track it. Sure, some day it would be fun, but this is NOT about me.

Swifty on the other hand, has spent years finding the perfect setup so he can run 10's or 9's or whatever, and IDK if I've ever, ever, ever, heard about this weekend or that weekend he went to the track, ran a mediocre time, and will be back in a few weeks to try again. All I hear/read is 'as soon as this' or 'as soon as that'...swifty, get your car to the track, roll it off the line and run a 16.8@88mph if you have to, otherwise...

Have a few tricks in the works, hopefully find another ~30hp and maybe some more revs should do it. Going to see if I can get that 60' lower too, like 1.60ish instead of 1.68-1.72 like I was cutting.

I am. Haven't ran my "new" setup since I got the car. I'm not expecting much because the car is not "tuned" yet. But, next year there will be better things for the car. I'll be happy with a 13 second run.
