we will be going to the fair for some fried up goodness and beer on sept. 2. It is the only wed night at the fair.

You can buy discount tickets at city county federal credit union

meeting at the south gate (were the bus's drop you off) say at 7pm.

we always park at the UofM lots there are free and the bus ride is free also to the fair from there.

We can also car pool with people to make it alot easyer for everyone.

I'm down. I can get discount tickets through work as well. I will most likely take a park and ride bus from a lot in Arden Hills or Roseville.

Discounted tickets would be good. I'll probably take a Park N Ride bus from Minnetonka (394 & Hopkins Crossroad) if anyone wants to ride the bus with me.

Well, I have class from 1-5 on Wednesdays in EP, so meeting Hughes at the park and ride in Minnetonka is closer than driving up to MG.

id also be up for that i was waiting for this thread!!..I work early the next day but were just doing store tours!! woot for paid field trips so i can be in a food coma all day. I have never been to state fair with friends before only about 3 times with family members and it has always sucked so hopefully going with friends will make it more fun.

Rember it is this week

Also beer there this year is 5.50 or 6.50 for a 20oz all depends on what you want. Ali and I had a few beers today.

We will be bring some "pop" with us on wed to save on the not so cheap beers. They don't check anything at the gate so back packs and coolers with beer or what ever will make it fine.

Anyone meeting Janelle and I to ride the bus from Minnetonka lets be there at 6:15 so we can get on the 6:30 bus. Its $5 round-trip. Southwest corner of 394 and Hopkins Crossroad (CR 73) at the big parking ramp.

For 5 dollars per person, why not just park at the fair? Plus I like have an escape route, not waiting for bus schedules.

I think Andrews gonna be late with a work happy hour, so we may just drive there.

I spent $0 parking last night, we parked off of snelling/94. Took the usual 10 mins from my house to get there, got on a bus and it rolled out. We left at about 9pm, got on a bus, it left, no problem.

I just hate sitting in that traffic to get there after work since you're dealing with regular rush hour traffic plus fair traffic. The busses come every 15 mins so the wait is never that bad.

I will have to figure out how early I can get out of happy hour/dinner at Kierens. Starts at 5:30, so I probably can't leave until a bit after 6 at the earliest. Mark I'll give you a call tomorrow afternoon if I need picked up or not.

btw its read and ride day tomorrow so if you bring your library card when entering u get the discounted price of 9 dollars per ticket.
