GVR4 Meet - July 4th, 2009 @ Cars and Coffee in Chanhassen
 

I think it would be a nice meeting for the summer would be to all show up as a group to one of the Cars and Coffee meets they have. Lots of other car clubs have done the same thing and it's quite impressive to see 10 or more cars show up as a group.

I've gone quite a few times and it's a great event. It's early in the morning and held at a really cool place, Automotorplex.

I originally organized this as a Galant meet, but other Mitsu enthusiasts are encouraged to come. It's a great event if you love cars.

A Saturday I don't work, crazy. I'm definitely planning on showing up to C&C, we'll see if it actually happens.

I'll have to remember to run my car through the wash before I leave work Friday evening, even though having it clean won't make it look any less out of place, lol.

I should be able to make it CarRacer. I just need the caliper and it's ready to be driven! I'll be there to take some shots!

Absolutely non galants are welcome. The import showing has been lacking quite a bit. There seem to be a few cool cars but it's mostly ones with rims. The G35 group showed up in force last time. It would be nice to make a showing of something different. Show and go. :P

My car is a pile of shit and I parked it there. Most people gave me looks, but a few people knew what the car was. You should bring yours and show it. Our cars may not look the greatest but they have a good story behind them.

It'd probably have to be quite early because the show starts at 8am. maybe we should hit up breakfast at like 6am...but i aint sure about waking up that early.

Does Pauleys in Chaska do breakfast? It might be easier to get to the Autoplex from Chaska (south) as from anyplace on highway 5. Pauleys has a bigger parking lot, more seats, easier in/out than the Perkins does.

we should set up a time and location to meet up, add directions. I wanna know where and when and who i'm meeting up with to cruise to the cars n coffee. I got a guest, and david from my work is coming with his evo, so we need to know.

If people want food early AM -Perkins may be the only choice.
I will be going, but my mornings are not predictable enough to know if I can meet up that early. Probably end up showing up after 9:30am.

Eden Prairie mall has large parking lots and will be mostly empty that early. It also a short cruise down highway 5 away from C&C. There's also a McDonalds in the parking lot fkr anyone who wants to catch a gut bomb quickly.

Meet in front of the EP movie theater/Barnes and Noble and roll out of there at 8:30 to be fashionably late?

Yeah Eden Prairie Center is probably the best meeting spot I'll be there.

I'll show up about 8 to and get to getting tonight's bugs off the car. I spent 10 minutes scrubbing it in the wash at work before I left, but the drive home already netted me two bugs and some tar. :rolleyes: God damn white cars...

Alright. Decision making time. Should I go there in my GVR4 or my dads 67 Camaro? He said I can drive it, but I don't know how weird it will be to drive a non Mitsu to a meet I semi-organized.

Drive whatever you're comfortable and happy driving and showing. I don't think any of us will really care what you bring.

I agree. It doesn't matter, to me, if you show up in a camaro or a GVR4. It is just awesome that we will have a caravan of sorts.

I wouldn't get there too late if you want to park your cars in the show. I was at the first event and they actually ran out of space for people to park their cars in the correct spots. If the weather is nice, the earlier you guys go the better. I planned on going but have recently changed my plans.

I don't know that we are really trying to "park" our cars AT the show per-say. We don't drive vipers, like you..lol.

I look forward to seeing you all at 8am tomorrow. What is the EXACT spot at the eden prairie center we all choose to meet at? I am saying AMC theater. I'll see you guys then!

The show was a good time! Lots and lots of money there.
