turning 21 where to go?
 

so my 21st b-day is next tuesday and I am trying to figure out where to go. seeing that I've never really been to a bar what are some good ones to go to??? and or if you know of any to stay away from that would be nice to know too

Don't plan to drive. listed below are in no particular order of good spots. Its been awhile since i've been to the bar.

1. Shout house. in Downtown. They play piano music there. write a song, leave a tip.
2. The Drink. in Downtown College bar? need say more?
3. Bar Abilines in Uptown?
4. Independent in Uptown.
5. Williams Peanut Bar in Uptown.
6. Blue Fox off 694 / lexington in Shoreview.

Not much going on most Tues nights, but The Independent In Calhoun Square (Uptown) is a cool place to have some drinks and food. They have some pretty cool drinks and their appetizers are generally great.

yeah I kinda figured that. I'm more looking for a good place to hang out with some friends and have a few drinks not looking for anything real crazy cause I'm supposed to go to school in the morning but I doubt that will happen

3. come out with the party weekend crew, a//// guy, swifty, myself, febo
and i'm sure we can find bars...

bar abalene is a fun place, I've wanted to go to shout house for a while, never been there..sneaky pete's is decent, spin (for scenery) drink is a fav, etc..

Tuesdays are pretty slow though... I would try moose country or hit up uptown. Was there last night and it wasnt bad but not really busy. Independent, Williams, Chino, and if its nice out hit the Drink and Stellas rooftop patios. Downtown is pretty slow Tuesdays too but check thriftyhipster.com for events and places to go.

If you just want to have a good time with friends go to Dave and Busters! Get drunk and do some racing/gaming.... Laid back as hell.

Otherwise, a lot of decent places have been mentioned, but tuesday's always suck. Shout House on Wednesday is awesome!

I would do that but since I still live at home and my mom isn't too fond of alcohol in the house that is kinda out of the question.

I think we're gona go to moose country so if anyone is interested in coming and having a few drinks I'll be there. if anything changes i'll let you know

My 21st is going to be on a Tues as well...lame...but go out for birthday tues. Then you have plenty of time to recover for the weekend and go wherever you want.

ugh anyway, maybe i would someday if i had an xbox....i can host maybe a regular nintendo or sega genesis, maybe dreamcast with some ready 2 rumble? i dunno i have no games..:(
