Hey whats up? I just bought a 09 lancer Ralliart black, a week ago and was at uni on saturday 21st, when i meet one of your members forget who and was told to check out this site, i was there with my friend who has a 08 evo X red. My name is Jeff i am 25 and live in cottage grove, just hit 923 miles on the ralliart (i think i drive it to much and just beat a mustang last night :biggrin:). My last car before this was a 2000 cougar so i am not use to a turbo car yet, and i love it wish i had one from the start. Next wensday i am set up to get a tune done and get a boost pill put in hopefully that will put me somewhere between 230-250 at the wheels.

Depends on the dealer and options, but $24-28k I think? These things are sweet! Bring it to the spring dyno day! And post pics woowoo!

They make good power too. Martin at AMS had one in his back room dyno, said it was making 300whp on the stock turbo and just a few mods. A lot of bang for the buck.

i got mine for 28k after everything, and i am trying to get my friends to do the spring road trip you guys have going on, but dunno if we can get it off of work, both of us are mail men and saturdays is kinda hard to get off. But ya i will probally be at uni tonight if anyone is going to be out that way.

Just saw this thread, busy weekend. Glad you made it on the site man! The cruise is gonna be Legen-Dary , so if you can get it off get ready to cause a ruckus.

I was going to go down to uni, with the Evo this time, but was too busy. We have weekly meets at Old Chicago, not sure where it is this week but that's where it usually is, you should come down this Wednesday and meet the crew.

Good point, it does look like it's through glass, I didn't see a building in the other photos.

I just thought it would be funny if he climbed a tree, and was shaky so it turned out a little blurry.

lol ya my friend climbed it i was laughin at him, it was windy out when we took it and the tree was moving on him. I am going to RS Motor sports tuesday at 3pm to get my tune and boost pill put in, plus i just added my friends stock evo x intercooler and pipeing in so that way i can get it tuned and then add what i am buying in and just tweak the tune later on down the road when i get upgraded parts. I will post my results if you guys want after its all done, i am hoping i at least hit 260-270 at the weels but thats my guess.

Welcome! Glad to finally see a Lancer Ralliart on here.

RS Motors is sort of taboo around here... There are other shops we trust to tune our cars, specifically Mitsubishis, more so than other shops. Check our sponsor section of the forum and hopefully you reconsider spending money at RS Motors.

will do heading there now, they reason why i am going to RS motors is cause my friends been there and he has had very good results from ron, and plus i am basically paying pritty cheap thanks to my friend.

I am back i ended up getting 228/245 out of my car stock was 208/222 with that intercooler and pipe, not bad. I wasnt able to get the boost pill cause ron was having problems getting a correct boost pill profile on it he choose to take it out so that it dosnt rack up a huge charge on the dyno while he tunes it. All and all ron hooked me up and charged me 1hr of tuning for 2hrs. I will post my dyno results when i get them he was going to email me them due to the printer running out of ink lol.

Yea they usually baseline 190-200 even seen low as 181 mustang. Just never did a baseline run, fmic and pipe possibly some gains but wont know. Only the intake side was tuned exhaust was left stock. For GST making 236/244 mustang with boost pill and me making 228/245 mustang without boost pill is good, pulls hard and doesnt let go of power all the way.

Ron will get back to me later on after he hits up GST by showing them my map to them to help fix the Ralliarts boost pill grumpyness, GST was also having problems with the car dealing with the boost profiles so when thats fixed hell hit me up to come back, so far he tuned without boost pill and manged to get near GST's dynotune of 236/244 that used the boost pill, there much more tuning available most def.

Thats because RS and DB use different dynos. RS uses a Mustang, and DB uses a Dyno Dynamics. Dyno Dynamics typically read about 18-20% lower numbers if I'm not mistaken.

Mustangs aren't too much different than DD if both aren't using corrections. DynoJet is what has the higher numbers.

Also, a tune can vary quite a bit. If you do a safe street tune vs something to the edge, where it might blow up if you get a bad tank of gas. There are a lot of factors.
