Looks like fun! I'll keep my sideways-ness to pavement though, unless I know it's smooth ground with no holes or anything to hit that would break my car.

totally smooth soft ground with flags to mark holes, and nothing to hit at all

it was totally smooth, it was a no-till soybean field this year. it was basically a plane covered with 3-6 inches of snow.

and neither one of us are lowered so Woo! :D

Was a very fun time, the pics don't do it justice. We were holding the drifts for a long time and it was a blast to see what AWD can do in the snow!

for sure..I found a nice lot and a nice course by my place and well I am leaning a lot! awd is a blast for sure...so much better than last winter with fwd.

Haha, its nice to have, but can also break things if ur not carefull and know where you are :)

Another week or so of this zero degree weather we might have the 9"+ of ice thickness to do lake snowcross.

The DNR says 6", but considering you don't get second chances on a lake.......

I personally would rather be in Texas. There would be no winter car, just a nice car to drive around in. Your 300zx wouldn't hanldle well up here in the snow.

I do this in the Viper in the summer. Just replace snow with smoke, and you have RWD fun on dry pavement :)

Haha...considering that my grandfather was the one who restored it, getting stuck in snow might end badly. For all I know, somewhere in that engine, a coke bottle and two golf balls are rigged to make it run... But no, Texas is not fun right now. Sleet, rain, cold and blah.
