I am looking into selling all my stuff off the talon, and starting a new setup. goals are FP's manifold, HTA88, JMF drag mani, ETC fmic with 3"upper pipe. If I can sell it, I want to build a 2.3/2.4l motor on e-85. So, these are all for sale..if there's enough interested, then I will sell. Otherwise, I'll just finish tuning and run it. so, here's the lsit:

2.0l shortblock eagle rods, weisco pistons. make offer.
PTE divided t4 67 turbo. .70 exhaust housing, p-trim..larger polished comp. housing BRAND NEW center section-only 5k miles on it! 700 obo
DNP divided t4 exhaust manifold-newer style with larger runners. ceramic coated, but not very well.
tial 38mm WG-silver 150
dejon tool race FMIC-no pipes. 200
JMF race intake mani/100-shot direct port nitrous setup. comes with both solenoids, and a BRAND new purge. 10 lb. bottle, brackets, etc. would like to sell both together, but if I have two buyers, will consider seperating. 900 obo

sorry, these are the latest and greatest pics I have.

I only have intronets on my phone, so I'll check back as often as I can. Again, this is all a feeler..if I can get enough of this stuff sold, then you guys will allow me to move onto my new setup.

Seriously, your car has been "in progress" for as long as I've known you (3+ years?). Get the thing fully tuned, spend a few months driving and enjoying the thing like its meant to be enjoyed, and then decide if you're unhappy with it and would prefer to go a different route. I really can't figure it out...you're finally so close to having it done! Are you afraid to feel the power? Afraid it won't be the most powerful DSM in existence? Afraid it won't run 8's your first time to the track? Seriously, whats the deal? Every year you change directions and setups with the car without ever actually finishing one.

^Sounds like you know swifty pretty good.

I think he wants to be the cool kid in teh dsm group with the biggest and baddest. I mean he thinks scheides car pulls sick, not a knock on scheides car but basically he loves a 16g car when he has a fully built 67 car.
I would of said my car but 2 points, he hasn't been in it and it doesn't pull as near as good as scheides car up top.

Dude, If I were as close as you with my car, I'd just get 'er tuned professionally ASAP. Do what everyone else says. That car will make too much power as it sits. If you want another project car, pick one up, but this is ready to roll, is it not?

I have talked to Tom at ETS quite a few times, he basically said unless you are going up over the 750whp mark the 3" pipe is useless. Just an FYI. Best of luck on the build/sale.

I've read it's more in the 500's whp, but it's all speculation without back to back proof. I switched from 2.5 to 3" upper piping and at the same boost level made 10 less whp, but I also changed a bunch of stuff like engine management, so for comparison, it's crap. I should've kept the old pipe and switched back and forth now because I'm still curious if it made any verifiable improvement.

Peter, the goal isn't to sell it all, it's to go better. I want to build a stroker, and tune on e-fuel. So, I'd sell my injectors, block, etc. The WG I am selling to upgrade te 38mm to a 44mm and make it red, to match my tial BOV I traded ol' man hill for. I will not sell this car, or completely give it up, rest assured. I still plan on painting it over next spring, once my pocket book recovers from my cut hours at work.

But the question is... WHY? Your setup now is finally complete, is it not? Why not tune it and make actual power and enjoy it? If your goal is to just make things pretty and have a huge mod list, go for show then.

I just dont get your strategy at all... seems like a waste of money and time.

BELIEVE me, if I could afford to go tune it, I would today. But, I don't have the money to rent the dyno out, unless someone wants to help me out, and give me a time slot to use their dyno, it jsut won't happen. I wish to drive the car, like you have no idea.

Ahh ok. So why not wait and save some money up, and leave the car alone... Sellings parts and then building a new engine/setup, wont be saving you any money..

no. i would sell the shortblock if there was Someone to buy it. The waste gate is for sale once i put the car on storage insurance and stop driving it this year.
