I was hoping the selling of all your parts was not going to lead to this! On a side note you should trade rims with me. Let me know if you'll consider it!

Re: FS: 1991 Eagle Talon AWD TSI

I lost my license and i have been trying to figure out a way to pay for a wedding next year, this seems to be the smart choice, plus a for a while there i was wanting to get out of DSMs.

Re: FS: 1991 Eagle Talon AWD TSI

No those aren't the only mods sorry.

I will email pics to those truly interested.

I will be basically do the same as kevin, by continuing driving the car, but any upgrades will increase the price.

Thanks Kevin for the complement, a lot of people that know the car are interested because of the price.

This is a great car and I would love to take it off your hands, but I'm sorta in the same shoes as you are. Except your wedding=my school.

I've seen this in person and it's a sweet 1g for sure.

Re: FS: 1991 Eagle Talon AWD TSI

Sad to see it for sale, but I understand this reasoning.

This is an example of a 16g car done right ladies and gentleman. If you are a noob and buy it, please don't start fucking around with shit because you read better on Tonners :)

Re: FS: 1991 Eagle Talon AWD TSI

well right now i have a bunch of people interested but they are missing one important thing. MONEY!!

But thats cool i placed this for sale after getting pulled over this weekend.
I will continue to finish the car and if i don't get hassled i will keep it.

But so far i will be removing the tint this weekend hopefully and throwing on a stock catback too.

I appreciate all the comments, it makes me want to keep it, but if a good offer comes we will see.

Re: FS: 1991 Eagle Talon AWD TSI

Word. I would like a DSM again some day, but it's probably a year too soon for that. The car I really want is the one that now has my old setup.

Re: FS: 1991 Eagle Talon AWD TSI

Hopefully you wont get hassled. Keep it! But I take it as a no for a trade on the rims? lol

I dont know what happened to the car, but the drivetrain is in my friends car. I know for sure he is still running the 50 trim.

Good luck with the sale of your car, hopfully it goes to somone who will take care of it.

Yeah man, tell Jeremy I want first dibs if he sells that car. Actually, I think I may call him in the near future.

Brownman, good talking to you. If you happen to reconsider I would be happy to meet up with you some time to look at each others cars :)

Re: FS: 1991 Eagle Talon AWD TSI

Good job on the price brownman, that's pretty realistic, now to find someone with the money. I'm half tempted to sell mine too since I don't have time to drive it, but even at a realistic price for mine, I don't think many people can take out home equity loans right now.

Re: FS: 1991 Eagle Talon AWD TSI

LOL, i wanted to price it to reflect what i think it is worth, i had all the receipts, then took in the fact the cleaniness of the shell and the quality of the work on it.

Thanks again guys, your not rid of me yet.

I'd say it's on the cheaper side of things at $5800.

Clean shells are hard to find, done right cars are hard to find, well maintained cars are hard to find.

If it doesn't sell then yes. I have had a few people come and look at it.

So this is still for sale?

Yes.

Re: FS: 1991 Eagle Talon AWD TSI

Wow, another really tempting car... if I buy a 1g though I want a clean shell so I can do the work. I'm sure your work is amazing, but I just find comfort in knowing that I did the work. Plus I am not looking to spend that much. The panda look kicks ass too...haha. My last talon was gonna be a panda car (not buy choice, but the body panels that needed replacing were coming off a black parts car). Good luck with the sale.

turbotalon1g 09-29-2008 11:19 PM

Re: FS: 1991 Eagle Talon AWD TSI
