thanks for coming, I finally got to have a decent last run to get first in AS.

How you shaved off .8 that last run is beyond me, the run didn't look that smooth to me. I know I had time left in that offset after the first slalom, and in both hairpins. I feel I was going as fast as I could down the concrete slalom, but seeing those BMWs fly through it made me feel like I was going slow as hell.

I can't wait for August 3rd!

I know ,but I was faster and took the last slalom on the right. I would have done much better time if I had been smoother, Oh well next time...

Even with my turbo exploding I had a good time. Was nice to try a Miata, very diffrent to drive to say the least! Quite fun though!

Do you think that last slalom was faster exiting inside or outside? Entering right and exiting left seemed more natural and smoother to me.

If I could have switched classes when I switched cars I would have been fastest E Stock in the street tire index. Oh well. My last 3 runs were in Paul's old Miata.

As Andres said!!! Come and do some ride alongs if you're interested in AutoX at all. I came last year and rode with Chris D, Andres, and Randy (06 MAC driver of the year I believe).

Definitly worth your while! And yes, it changed my life.

Hopefully see some of you on the 13th.

It's about time you signed up, noob. Make a Welcome thread.

Yes, anyone who has any curiosity/animosity/interest in autocross should come out. This is the local prep event for an upcoming national event, so the area's top drivers will be out tweaking their cars and driving. Bring a Snell 2000+ helmet, sign the waiver and you'll be free to ride in anyone's car. It's as close as you can get to participating in an actual event without doing so. Come spend an hour and see what it's all about.

I now have my autocross numbers all ready to go for next weekend's event!

Zac (hellomynameis) and I both have these, except his say Mitsubishi instead of my MitsuStyle. His dad works at some industrial printing place in Chaska so these were silk screened onto white magnetic sheets. I am SUPER happy with how they turned out and think they look great (and quite professional). Thanks again to Zac and his crazy dad :D

I found out that the reason I had a run missing from the timing sheet is that I was supposed to get a rerun for my first run but was never told so. I'm kind pissed, but what can you do?
