Absolute Power! Free Electricity

This is it guys, this is most important thing you will ever read, possibly ever.

After extensive research, I have concluded that this is not a hoax.

Magnetic motors: Free electricity, as much as you want, on demand, lightweight, non nuclear/fossil fuel.

First, lets identify why this is needed: Electric cars run off batteries have limited range, are expensive to build and are heavy hogs.

This generator is lightweight, lighter then any battery pack, you could build an electric car, and never stop to refuel/charge.

imagine electric race cars, faster and cheaper then our DSMs with no fuel charge, ever.

The entire world is about to get all topsy turny: The oil industry, nuclear power industry, and coal/natural gas industries are about to get totally screwed over.

So Trillions of dollars of industry and jobs are at stake here, I wouldnt be surprised if every inventor of this technology silently disappears.

evidence: jump to your own conclusion

google or youtube "perendev" and/or "magnet motor"

This technology is easily built by home builders like me, i have ordered my magnets off of ebay to build my own proof of concept motor, then i will build a big one for my car, if this is a hoax, its a pretty good one.

I think this site should chip in and buy you a trophy for "most batshit crazy idea posts ever." ;)

Have you actually followed through with any of your crazy schemes? Just wondering.

I'd like to see independent testing from a national lab.

This video means nothing. It spins a disc but to do so its discharging the magnets and eventually they will be nothing more than rocks so in a way its still using "fuel", just an unconventional one.

No free lunch kids ;)

iceminion, you do understand that it takes energy to create energy, right? Converting one type of energy into another is not 100% efficient, you will never come out with more than you put in. If this thing is so great then why isn't it all over the news as being a true perpetual motion machine?

Most people who have a somewhat decent education in physics and science respond to this with insults, swearing and generally becoming upset.

No rules of physics are being broken here, just a loophole of magnetism is being exploited, nothing more nothing less.

Most people who end up actually inventing something dont argue on the internet, they go out and pattent it and attempt to get rich and change the world.

and yes, big oil has a majority of politicians on their payroll, and the news networks are under the iron grip of the special interests groups.

If you owned the largest, most profitable industry in the history of man kind(exxon), wouldnt you try to protect your business? I sure as hell would want people driving internal combustion cars forever

1,250 kg and 24,700 euro = 2,750 lbs and maybe 60k USD
I can definitely see the advantages of having this over a DSM.

And a loophole in magnetism? Like there's a bug in physics which they're exploiting?

Re: Absolute Power! Free Electricity

ask god why this works, not me. here is another company http://www.lutec.com.au/

slowboy, technology to application isnt always as clear cut as we would like it, but the proof of concept devices work, this does not automatically mean that you can go to menards and buy a consumer level product, yet.

oh, and a 1,250kg electric generator unit you are referencing is a heavy industrial power generating unit, there will be lighter ones in cars.

I am not here to explain how this works, there are pleanty of videos online which do, like this one here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZI4ND...eature=related

knowledge is power, and it sure seems to me like this is the real deal, pass it around, so far nobody has been able to PROVE that this does not work, and that is how the scientific method works

Re: Absolute Power! Free Electricity

I bet it works for a while and eventually they demagnetize.. and I'd guess that you probably get a lot less energy out of it than went in to making the magnets. Would be fun to make tho and see how long it goes

Re: Absolute Power! Free Electricity

neodymium retains its magnetism for 400 years. even if a generator built of these lasted 5 or 10 years it would be well worth our time.

MustGoFaster 07-01-2008 01:02 PM

Re: Absolute Power! Free Electricity

A page about the motor says that the motor works "by focusing the magnetic field, the angles of the magnets and a special method of shielding." Also, "the motor does not require external power to start up." Brady reports that tests run have shown no diminution of magnet strength over period of motor operation, which was two months in one instance.

As the stators become engaged, the three rotors with off-set magnet alignment begin to spin. The speed is controlled by a governor. Without the speed control, the device would accelerate to destruction.

http://www.pureenergysystems.com/new...MagneticMotor/

Well, lets' just hope this really works. Would be nice, just set one up in your garage and run forever.

It's using the opposing force (like trying to push two magnets together) to spin the motor right? Even "permanent" neodymium magnets demagnetize when they are held in an opposing magnetic field.

Build one tho and see how long it goes with a little bit of load on it, then post it up

Re: Absolute Power! Free Electricity

Freaking sweet!

Unfortunately, magnets are expensive, and supply/demand will blow the price of them through the roof.

Yes, they will probably demagnetize, but it I'm sure they'd be worth it to build.

Still, it needs to work in the real world, widespread, etc. It's probably going to cost us a lot is some other resource to produce the magnets or some part of the assembly, just like E85. Still, cool.

Thats pretty interesting. But when the guy started the machine up it sounded like a combustion motor starting.

how about we just plug an extension cord back into itself, you would need some sort of resistor pack capable of dissipating billions of watts of power to control the reaction however.
2nd law of thermodynamics > this

Re: Absolute Power! Free Electricity

If setup right with some thought put into it, you could in theory put one of those setups into a DSM, hooked right up to the tranny. You could offset about 2 or 3 of those wheels on a shaft, hooked into a clutch and tranny setup. It would look like a rotary engine almost from the outside. The gas pedal would be hooked up to a speed controller, some how.

iceminion 07-01-2008 11:49 PM

Re: Absolute Power! Free Electricity

actually, doing this in a DSM would kinda be pointless, they dont look THAT good. Also, the AWD transmission/drivetrain is heavy and pointless.

From what I understand, you can delete the transmission and attach 1 electric motor to each wheel via axle or direct link, have a generator (rotating magnet motor attached to a large alternator.

Voltzilla is the megasquirt of electric cars, you would need to use one of those to drive the electric motor(s)

I personally would wait until this technology is more refined, the real high-output generators have only been around for a couple months, let gas go up to $5/gal plus higher heating bills in the winter, and i think we are going to have lots of do-it-yourselfers building these over the next couple years.

+1 to saving the earth, and my wallet

Buy your rare earth metals while you can!

Supplies of Rare Earth Elements Exhausted By 2017
"While we bemoan the current oil crisis, I ran across an editorial that led me to research a more immediate threat. Ramped-up production of flat-panel displays means the material to make them will be 'extinct' by 2017. This goes for other electronics as well. Quoting: 'The element gallium is in very short supply and the world may well run out of it in just a few years. Indium is threatened too, says Armin Reller, a materials chemist at Germany's University of Augsburg. He estimates that our planet's stock of indium will last no more than another decade. All the hafnium will be gone by 2017 also, and another twenty years will see the extinction of zinc. Even copper is an endangered item, since worldwide demand for it is likely to exceed available supplies by the end of the present century.' More links at the journal entry."

Where do magnets come from? What powers the factories that shape said magnets? The earth, and coal or nuclear power, respectively.

You aren't taking things like that into account when you say it is "free energy" or what have you. Does it create enough torque to power a 3000lb car?

How much does the motor itself weigh? I know that magnets are metal, generally, and they are heavy bitches. Ever seen a 25hp electric motor? you need a forklift to pick it up. In a power-to-weight comparison, an internal combustion engine has so far always trumped electric power.

First off, over unity is over unity, thats what makes it amazing. here is a high HP car with electric motors http://www.electrifyingtimes.com/honda_dualnote.html

Second, yes electric motors are heavy, but so are transmissions and battery packs

if I could have a car with a non-nuclear power source that would outlive me, that would cut down on my transportation expenses quite a bit.

If you have some personal vendetta against cutting edge/experimental technology, please dont post in this thread.

There's nothing wrong with cutting edge technology, but there is something wrong with people posting up every single thing found on the internet as the cure for what ails this world.

At the meet we have on thursday nights here in Cali, There was a 3g that made his own kit that looks exactly like the cheap ebay ones.
He said he was going to dyno his car with and without it because he thinks he felt a difference. He also had a active grounding fresh off of ebay, it even came with a little box that had a cool LED on it to show that it was working. LOL
