Here is the plan.

Anyone who wants to drive up Friday afternoon and race Friday night can at will.

Ask for Brian if he is available. Nick has a block of 5 rooms reserved thus far for us. 1 smoking and 4 non smoking. Double beds. I called and confirmed and grabbed one for me and Jana. So there are 4 rooms left, but I guess they have plenty available that weekend.

Rates are $25.00 a night + tax. A Great Deal and a huge thanks fo the guys up there for getting us that. Call today and ask for the block reserved under Straight Line Specialties for the Friday and Saturday night. If you only need one night make sure you specify.


They are close to SLS.

Saturday is racing during the day and a BBQ/Cookout at SLS starting around 3/4 pm. Then your free to chill and stay till Sunday before heading back or head back home saturday night.

I'm not sure what calendar you were looking at, but did you mean April 30th - May 2nd?

I would love to roadtrip up, but if it is the dates that Matt listed, that weekend is right before finals week so that takes me out. I wouldn't doubt it it a number of people would be in the same position as me since I know there are quite a few other college students around here.

I live in Fargo too. Buy then i should have my Big 16g in. :woowoo: I am definately down for something like that. Never been to the track either, so it will be interesting. Once you guys know the exact dates let me know so i can take some time off work.

So we gonna have any of the locals up for the road trip. Pick and choose how you want to do it, but i want to make it worth Nicks time to host the event.

We will be doing this! Anyone interested in heading up Friday night for their Fri Night street drags at the track and staying overnight post on up. The Fargo guys can hook us up with rooms for 20-30 a night I think.

Doesn't look like it yet, If the truck is running then yes. I'm more worried about the truck for the SO though.

about 3, maybe a little less depending on traffic and speed ;-) Not bad for a nice new track (new surface and wider lanes) and a cookout the next day.

The only part where traffic can be a problem is the albertville/maple grove area.
depenging on when people leave on friday it probably wont be a big problem...

ill be rolling the family car, so if your dsm is broken and need a ride, i have room

I'm still interested in going but it's unclear if my car will be running by then. If I need a ride I'd want to spend the entire weekend up there.

Yeah, that totally sounds like a dominant trip! And i have been known to make a run... actually i am lying i havn't made a run in my car yet as it is still broke but i totally plan on going weather i am racing or not! you can count me in! i am not sure if i am spending one or two nights i think one could be in order though!!

just like any typical fargo weekend, alot of grand am's/grand prix, rednecks, ricer hondas, and some very fast cars...

Also when does the event start on Friday? I don't see anything on the site about it. I just need to know when we have to leave and if we are caravaning out there or what not.
