This cruise is looking iffy for me, here is where i am right now.

gOAL IS in tonight, wait for turbo to get back, tune thursday night and friday night.

Still need to find a NT throttle body, and talk to PTE about the oil feed line, i don't know if maybe the oil pressure was too low at idle in that motor to feed the turbo from the head.

wow brown you got a lot of work ahead of ya. I'd lend you a hand if I were home, but unfortunately I'm stuck in fargo.

All I've gotta do, is change my oil and adjust my clutch and give her a wash.

I need to change my oil, check tire pressure, check coolant level, add windshield washer fluid, wash and vaccuum my car, and I'm good to go. Unless I decide to take my bike, in which case I need to top off the gas tank, and check tire pressure.

Mitsu housing turbos from PTE come with instructions showing where to run the oil feed line from on the oil filter housing. Garrett turbos need more oil than OEM Mitsubishi turbos and PTE has said the oil feed off the head isn't enough oil/pressure. Once you put the feed down at the oil filter on a balance shaft less motor, then the oil seals blow. :)

Got the motor in last night. Need to put the drive line back together. 10 miles and my new transfer case leaks again!

Probably not going to make it...

I just found out my oil cap got switched somehow, need a new one before the cruise because this one leaks badly. Got my '90 thermostat housing installed tonight that doesn't leak, so no more filling coolant every 200 miles.

Now I just need to get link and my downpipe installed Thursday afternoon and I'll be all set for tuning at DB on Friday.

SO apparantly (thank you shane) I need to acquire an oil feed line from the filter housing with a restrictor. (any ideas)

Waiting on turbo, got a 90 degree coupler for IC piping and might have a real intake too.

My brother decided last week that he's moving to florida next week, so I have plenty of other stuff to do besides work on my damn car!

Now get yours running so I can beat your ass with an OEM turbo and convince you to switch back to one!

I know, I have also now decided to swap out my rubber floormats for the cloth ones...I have taken Friday off work so I should have enough time to complete my overhaul.

Install new lifters tonight, finish installing steering rack. Fill coolant, steering fluid, and change oil. Get an alignment thursday hopefully, and then I should be done besides cleaning the car. Hope I dont run into any issues.

had to take the tranny out the Q.M. flywheel came loose. fixed that problem with the 2.4 auto ring that was still on my 2.4 bottom end. Got them all tight and welded the bolt to the ring. Still wating on the PTT t.o. bearing to show up today or wed. Have to get 2 rear tires check the rear toe a 2nd time with the new ones on it. I will probley wash it also

Yeah that boost leak owned me so i put down the same power just worse powerband, plus my clutch was slipping, but i got a new clutch too thanks to nick.

List: Find a NT TB, lines are in the mail, need to get a restrictor, throw axles in, fill fluids, turn up amp, Pray weather is good and i can tune it. If not scheides gets to live another day without getting his ass handed to him. LOL

Ordered lines, PTE wants to wait till they have the turbo apart before we decide on a restrictor, but i trust you guys, i just don't want a $70 one.

Changed oil, spark plugs, plug wires, and coil boots on the evo tonight. Alignment tomorrow.

Also of note, I put on a new rear windshield wiper, and hughes and I verified that my afterburners are working properly last night.

Im actually going to try piecing my talon back together for the cruise instead of rockin the evo.. Pending on some parts arrival.. Although after using radiator.com I don't believe that part will be a problem arriving on time.
