I'd like no truck at all. Give me something with a 500cc turbo engine running on e85 and making 120hp. I'll drive that biotch everywhere. No motorcyles though, I want that in a car. Like a smart car.

I would typically have agreed with that, but after driving more rental cars than I care to try and remember in the last 2.5 years, I would purchase a brand new Ford over a brand new Chevy any day. Don't get me wrong, I still wouldn't buy either of the 2 brand new, but it does seem that Ford has stepped up their game, especially with their interior design. When I get an 07-08 Ford, I don't feel like I'm in a ford anymore, which is a step in the right direction I think.

Now own two so called Fords, there was a reason I picked it over another Mitsu. ;)

no matter how you swing it, it's personal preferance and pocket book ability on what you can and will own.

If I had the cash there is a few other cars that I would love to own over my ford. But I ended up getting what I thought was best for my tatse for my money.

This doesn't have anything to do with the fact I have no idea wtf was actually asked in the first post.

Fords suck, My parents like ford tho. My dad has an 06 f150, its just OK. My mom has a 03 mountaineer. An 03 car with 98000 miles and needed a tranny, thats quality. GARBAGE!

My dad has had his 93 ford truck since 1993, and he still drives it today on the original motor and transmission. This while hauling loads of hay and corn over the years. Would I buy a ford, generally no for personal choice but I wouldn't call them crap either. Again, reflections on what's happened with vechicals of those you know.

I have had no problems with the 00 Powerstroke. In a pickup I'd only go diesel, 7.3 powerstroke "If it dont blow black, Take it BACK". Now both my whips have turbo's the best of both worlds.

I like most of the the Fords I have owned. Their not the highest quality vehicles, but they are just as good if not better than mitsu's.

I guess if you call my car a Ford... I really enjoy my car.

As for the rest of the Ford lineup, I dont care for them. But, I work with their lineup of vehicles everyday and I must say they have improved greatly over the past 5-10 years. I used to hate everything about Ford, now I actually like their trucks.

The '05 and up trucks are pretty nice. You can see a lot of the Land Rover touch in interior design and ergonomics, a big improvement over '04's. Plus the built in trailer controllers on the F350's rock.

Except the fucking stupid ass tires ford decides to put on fleet vehicles, they are probably the best line-up of fleet vehicles..ALOT less problems than the other two big domestic line-ups.

Since Chevy dissed CAT, I really hope Ford pick's up the Cat motor in their diesels. As for the Cummings motors I think the older ones are garbage, but in the last 2 years they have made a grip load of improvements.

Cat has no intention of getting into the light truck market, furthermore the old Cummins engines blow the new ones out of the water as far as durability is concerned
