WOOHOO! Wonder what turbo it'll have strapped to it....will they bring back the 14B? Maybe a gt28? or hopefully....the same hardware as the evo :D

More info from Edmunds.com:

- 236-horsepower (a detuned version of the Evo's turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine).
- Six-speed twin-clutch SST transmission.
- Full-time four-wheel drive (including AYC and ACD).

According to Mitsubishi (direct source at not indicated) there will also be:
- Recaro front seats
- Sport steering wheel with paddle shifters
- Rain-sensing wipers
- Xenon headlamps with washers.

Sounds sweet! But I'd still rather them keep the name brand seats, the rain sensing wipers, and the AYC, and just give me the old school basic stuff and bring the price down even further. But I still can't wait to hear the price of these.

That new Lancer Ralliart looks like a real winner. Mitsu unveiled it at the Detriot Auto Show yesterday along with a new Concept RA with a 2.2L turbo diesel.

240hp, SST, AWD, etc, just like we've been anticipating. No word on price yet, but I'd bet a fully-loaded one will go for ~$30k.

So it looks like there will be a sedan and a sportback to compete with the wrx hatch's. It features the new Evo motor but with toned down cams and a single scroll turbo(power down to 237hp/253tq), but most Evo X mods will swap right in. The four wheel drive comes from the last gen Evo, but the tranny options or unknown yet. Prices in the mid 20k range.. Should be a great tuner car.

Talk has begun how this car is going to fare in autocross. It will be interesting to see what classes it lands in.

So it's like a V6 Mustang, the looks and options, minus some power. But better in a way cause it's still the same engine. I wonder if they put a smaller turbo on it?

Doooooo it!

I'm guessing all of the evo stuff will bolt right up, FP is making everything from 20g to 65lb turbos that bolt right up since it's got a standard rotation turbo setup, etc. Or leave it mostly stock and actually roll in a fun DD for a while! :D
