Mark (TKR), Kevin, Hughes, Tim(xfactor) and I just got back to my place from porky's. We stopped by the boat launch along the mississippi north of downtown and tore shitties through the entire parking lot. A few near misses, but all was well! Kevin almost flew across the road leaving the parking lot, and mark *just* about tboned me as I skidded sideways down the narrow exit road!

I spun out on hwy 52 doing 65mph in my miata. Went around a few times, threw it in reverse popped the clutch, yanked the wheel, spun forward, put in fifth and continued on my merry. I need some snow tires.......

Living in duluth was fun today. Lots of people could not make it up the hills.

Long story short, 3 cars, one parking lot, and NO collisions.... with one another that is.

Later that night we took 4 trucks and a car out into my buddies cow pasture, i was the only sober one and we were all whipping the vehicles around, flinging up "Mud" everywhere. Come morning i was the only one who really remembered right away. Shortly after it dawned on the other two, they just covered their cars with cow crap 10 minutes before they had to leave for church... Glad i didn't have to go anywhere, and bought a car wash before i went over to his place.

Fuck.... Anyone have a spare hatch window for a 1g? I had my rear defroster on, the outer layer decided it didn't like the difference in hot and cold and decided to spiderweb on my way home. But Porkys and the parking lot was a blast! I hope everything is working well in your car Hughes.

Yep, tried whipping a shittie in the XC90 tonight, ran into the curb right next to Champlin HS. Doh. Doesn't appear to have hurt anything. Snow rocks!!

Just replaced all the bearings in my old XC600, install SLP power packs and an SLP boost bottle. Also threw on a set of new carb boots. Changed the gear case oil, replaced the driveshaft bearing.

had alot of fun in the evo. got a little close to chris about 1/2 of some bumper love. It did not help my bad act 2900 though but is still work kind of. Still was a ton of fun

Real men drift on 2 wheels in the snow!!

I rode my bicycle to work before the plows went out, and let me tell you, 4 inches of powder with ruts everywhere from cars= drift mania. Managed to stay up the whole time, but it was ridiculous, it was like trying to drive a rwd car with shitty tires in the snow.

2-4" here in Rochester but it rained afterward so there is a goot 1/4" of ice on everything facing the south/southwest. Took about a half hour to thaw my car and get the doors and trunk open. The city streets are plowed but icy as hell.

Probably just snow in the wheel. Check out all 4 wheels and clean out any snow/ice in them. My avenger did that this morning too.

Put my car away, their is no way the GST is going anywhere in this shit. But then I broke out the F-350 power stroke no stopping me now hahahahahaha. Been plowing since 9:30 last night and just got home. I go to bed now.

took my car out for a drive for the first time after the snow hit today and wow....4th gear at 1400rpm if i touch the gas at all i'm sideways. This isn't going to be fun anymore. I do have heat finally now

Yea I really miss AWD... first year driving the M with snow tires and its too easy to throw the rear end out. I tried to get into one parking lot that wasnt plowed. Uh yea, my cars too low, got in about 5 feet, plowed the snow and slowed down, so I threw it in reverse and got out of there. haha

there were a couple times where people would be plowing with a 4wheeler and see me flying down the road sideways and theyd cheer me on or give me a thumbs up

saturday night i got home and couldnt make it up the driveway. there was just too much ice. weird thing is that i didnt slide at all driving the entire way home.

so i got the car onto the driveway, right at the bottom. long story short, my car got PWNED by the snowplows. woke up, half my car is fucking buried in snow. took me an hour and a half to get it out. :( :( :(

Steve, just clean out the rims. My Grand Am was the same this morning. Shook like mad. The rims just have an un-even snow pack, pack more in to even it out, or clean them out.

The Grand Ma slides nicely with the e-brake. But I have gotten it sideways a few time with out it when I didn't want to go sideways. It's fun/scary turning left while going around clover leafs.

geez i feel dumb. my car sunday morning was shaking like mad (after i dug it out of the snow), and i didnt know wtf was going on. i thought maybe i had a tire low on pressure. this morning on the freeway it felt fine. your post makes sense haha thx.

WIsh i had a camera, decided to fill up some gas in the talon, nothing like 50mph sideways onto a major highway, oh yeah with the window down and one hand out like the pros.
Best sound ever too.
